13 hours since shinobu has been anxious non-stop.
13 hours since rengoku and the kamado squad sat in guit and worry in the butterfly estate.
13 hours since you have gone missing.
After you chased the upper moon in a rage, tanjiro tried to catch up with you and stop you. But you were too fast and completely ignored his pleads as he called for you.
inosuke had gone to aid rengoku after he was blown away by akaza, The hit on rengoku was very harsh and it took him a few seconds to regain his composure.
after that, the 3 of them looked for you while kakushi came and helped the passengers that were on the train.
Unfortunately for the 3 demon slayers, they had no luck in finding you.
Although your scent still lingered around, tanjiro couldn't pinpoint where the scent was exactly going.
rengoku sat down on the bed, his hand brushing over the soft mattress as he stares out the window. His injuries were in a healing process, meaning he couldn't go out on a mission, or to find you.
The kamado squad were silent as well, zenitsu was confused for the most part while inosuke and tanjiro sulked, guilt eating them up for not helping you. For being weak.
it had affected rengoku the most, he was at fault for this, or so he thought, if he had acted faster and better. You would've still been here.
And he dared call himself a hashira?

Shinobu walked into the room where the 4 of them were resting, her smile didn't falter as she looked over to them. "I've come to check on your wounds."
Tanjiro looked down, biting down on his lower lip. During his stay in the butterfly estate after he was injured due to his fight with rui, he saw how close and friendly you and shinobu were. It killed him inside that you two were now separated, when he could've done something to prevent that.
"Kocho, how long will my recovery take?" Rengoku was the first to break the silence, shinobu turned to him.
"You've just been brought in, your wounds are not Major, that's good. But you should rest for 2 days max for your injuries to completely heal." shinobu stated. Rengoku frowned upon hearing that, 2 days was too long, if he could, he would leave the estate right now and start searching for you.
"As for you 3.." shinobu took a look at the kamado squad. "Tanjiro, your stomach wound will take some time so please take it easy. Inosuke and zenitsu, please rest up as aoi will be the one taking care of you." she finished, flashing a graceful smile.
Shinobu seemed like her usual happy, optimistic and cheerful self. But tanjiro knew that wasn't right, from her scent, he smelled worry, sadness and anger coming from her. He chose to not say anything, but mumble a small 'yes ma'am.'
Tanjiro couldn't blame shinobu, he was also worried sick for you. This wasn't any demon that you chased after, this was an upper moon, upper moon 3.
He saw the battle unleash between the moon and rengoku himself, akaza's strength was something he has not ever seen. He could only pray that you were safe.

Nighttime has set, the kamado squad was sleeping soundly in their room as rengoku got off the bed. His footsteps were quiet as he walked through the halls of the estate, fortunately he knew where kocho puts the slayer's belongings.
He slid open a door and small smile came on his face as he saw his uniform and cape neatly folded. He picked it up carefully and quickly dressed himself before anyone saw.
He saw his sword in the corner of the room, picking that up too, and putting it on his belt.
He wasn't gonna wait for you to come back, he's gonna come find you, himself.
