Chapter Seven: Cynthia's Choice (part one)

****CHAPTER 6 RECAP****

"Cynthia, there's something I need to tell you." He began. I nodded at him and plastered on a smile just now. "Sure, Joey. What do you want to tell me?" I asked, feeling curious. Joey met my gaze and let out a sigh. This was his chance, he was about to put everything out on the line.

"I think I still.. have feelings for you..." He confessed as my mouth suddenly dropped. My heart froze as I took in his words. Man, I guess Stephanie and Becky were right all along. I was in trouble now...

"You... you.. do?" I asked, stumbling to get the words out. Joey nodded as he continued to stare at me feeling hopeful that I would feel the same. Honestly before I was able to answer him, I didn't know what to say as I was beyond speechless. Maybe, I was falling for him.

"Yes and I know that your with Danny now and I'm very happy for you but.. these feelings I have just didn't go away." Joey explained as my heart rate increased looking at him. His words stunned me and turned me on, all at once. There was something about him that seemed so different. "Joey.. I don't know what to say.." I drawled out, still trying to figure out all of the emotions I felt right now.

*Just as I was about to get up from the ground, Joey pulled me back down again towards him and we almost were about to kiss again for the second time, until I felt a bunch of crazy emotions all come over me in an instant. My heart started pounding harder and when I gazed up at him for a few seconds, I felt torn. Then a few seconds later as Joey and I were still staring at each other, Becky opened the door.*

"Uh hey guys, what's going on in here? I hope you guys are all finished because I'm about to close up for the night." Becky pointed out, still wondering what was going on.

A nervous laugh bubbled in my throat as Becky was still looking at us both. You could just feel the amount of curiosity in the room. "Oh yeah! We just finished everything you asked us to do. Anyways Becky, I'd love to chat more but I have to get home to see Danny!" I exclaimed as I rushed out of the storage room to get back to the house but all I could think about was... what the hell just happened between Joey and I?

As I came home to the Tanner's house after being at the studio all night with Joey by working late and cleaning up, I walked in the door and all I could see was a bunch of pretty lights and roses in front of me as I made my way in the doorway. The view was just so beautiful, I was completely in "awe" when I was taking everything in right now, just as Danny suddenly came out of the kitchen.

"Hey Danny, I am sorry that I'm a little later than I thought." I said to him in a soft voice, hoping that he wasn't mad at me. Danny gave me a genuine smile as he walked closer to me, giving me a hug. "That's okay, Cynthia. I'm just glad your here now." Danny pointed out to me as he gave me a kiss on the cheek. I chuckled. "Yeah, me too. Did you do all of this for me?" I thought, even though I knew I was right. "Of course I did." Danny said back to me. "I told you I wanted to make our first Valentines Day, special."

My smile grew wider just as I heard Danny say that to me. "Aww Danny, I love it!" I beamed, giving him another hug but this time I held him a lot closer. "I knew you would. So, how did things go at the studio?" He wondered, as he made direct eye contact with me. I gave him a small smile, trying to ignore the night before with what happened between Joey and I.

"It was alright, we got everything done." I said to him, trying not to sound guilty even though I was. Danny nodded at me. "That's good."

"Yeah. But, I'm just so happy to be here with you now. Everything looks so perfect." I bubbled, still in awe over all of the decorations. Danny plastered on a smile and let out a chuckle. "That's not the only thing that's perfect." Danny bellowed as he brought me closer towards him. "Aww." I said back to him, moments later as Danny and I both slowly leaned in for a passionate kiss.
