Quinn
"Oh my God," was the first thing I thought. Here I was, standing in a strangers house and pressed right against his muscular chest. All of a sudden, he pulled away and speed walked over to the corner of the room. My chest heaved as I tried to inhale precious oxygen.
"Y-you should go," he muttered. I stood there in shock. I mean, sure we were strangers but I should at least get to find out his name right?! He just saved me from being arrested!
"O-ok. Thanks for your help," I replied. I quickly left the room, making sure to close the door gently behind me. I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding and slowly made my way back to my car. Turning my keys, I revved the engine and sped out of the car park, this mysterious boy on my mind.
He had the deepest chocolate brown eyes I had ever seen. They seemed to sparkle and go on forever. He was very tanned, as if he saw the sun a lot. His dark blonde hair had streaks of lighter blonde, as if being bleached by the sun. It had been messy and tousled and I wanted to run my hands through it so badly. A black t-shirt was stretched across his muscular torso while a pair of grey sweatpants hung low on his hips. His feet were clad in white converse, which just perfected the look. It was so strange how he randomly came over to me. As soon as he started talking, he looked angry, but not at me. Nearly as if he was angry at himself. It was really weird.
I shook my head and focused on driving. It wasn't long until I pulled into our driveway. The only light that was on was the study's light. Of course daddy was still working. I used the front door key and quietly slipped into the house. Double locking the door after me I turned around and let out a bloodcurdling scream. Daddy was sitting motionless in the armchair over in the corner of the foyer.
"Oh my god daddy my heart," I said while breathing heavily. He got up and padded over to me, pulling me into a tight hug. I embraced him before pulling away.
"Sorry honey, I wanted to wait up until you came home. Just to make sure you were safe."
I sighed before saying, "of course daddy. I'm fine. I'm just gonna head to bed now. Night."
I softly kisses him on the cheek and sneaked off to my bedroom.
As soon as I arrived I flopped down onto the bed and let out a sigh. Memories of the night flooded in and I closed my eyes in an attempt to shut them out. Grabbing my phone, I dialled Rachel's number. As it went to the fifth ring, I was nearly sure she wasn't going to answer. It rang out to her voice mail.
"Hey this is Rachel. You know what to do!" BEEP.
I sighed and pressed the hang up button. Despite the fact that she had a voicemail system set up, she never used it. She had about forty voicemails that she didn't listen to. I wasn't going to leave her one knowing it wasn't going to be answered. It was weird that she hadn't answered. Rachel normally answers at all times. She's not one to let it ring. A weird feeling formed in the pit of my stomach and I tried to shake it off. Things weren't right. Instead of pacing the room, like I usually did when I was worried, I hurried into my closet. As soon as I was in there I let out a huge sigh. My closet is my kingdom.
Five years ago, mum and dad bought this house. A whopping one point five million dollars, but that's nothing for them. My parents are extremely well off and wanted a big house to show for it. When we were moving in, I was told to pick any bedroom I wanted. The only problem was, I didn't really want an impressive bedroom. I fell in love with one huge bedroom and a nice sized closet. Being the girl that I am, I decided to swap it around. My bedroom was now nice sized, while my closet was huge. It was filled with rows and rows of designer shoes, clothes, handbags, jewellery. You name it, I probably had it. The sleek white wood and grey carpet gave it an elegant and relaxing look. The fuisha pink ottoman was near the door and made the room more girly. It was my safe haven.
Deciding to choose my outfit for tomorrow, I flitted around the room. A pair of jean shorts and tank top would go perfectly with my new white bikini. Looks like tomorrow would be another day at the beach for me. I wonder if I'd get to see mystery boy.

My phone ringing woke me from my deep slumber and I clumsily fumbled around for it. God dammit. Who was ringing in the middle of the night. After finally reaching the phone, I pressed the answer button, not bothering to check the caller ID.
"Hello."
"Quinn?" a raspy voice breathed down the line. My heart automatically sped up and my breathing quickened. I had heard this voice countless times before, but never at this time of night.
"Rachel?" I questioned. "No offence but why are you calling me at-" I checked my watch "-three in the morning."
"Q I need your help. The police showed up at the bonfire. I'm down in the station now and I need you to bail me out. Please! You know I can't ring mum with this. She would kill me," she quietly sobbed down the phone.
I pinched my nose as I felt a migraine coming on. Rachel was the star child of family. She hated to disappoint her parents.
"Who else is down there with you?"
"Jake's still here. Everyone else called their parents and they bailed them out but I can't call mine. Your the only one I've got. Jake stayed here so I wouldn't be left in this dump alone," she said in hysteria. I sighed, yet again.
"Fine. I'm on my way."Author's Note: So this update is way later than it should be! I got a case of writers block and had no idea how to finish this chapter off! Hope you like it!! Comment/vote/follow please!!! Lots of love, magoo6
