Anxiety.

Anxiety is like a storm cloud.

A dark cloud of thoughts, more bad then good.
And whether they are true or not, you might never know.

Often times when you have these thoughts, you are coaxed into believing them.

That's when these thoughts seem less of a thought and more of a voice.
I tiny little voice, that only you can hear.

It tells you things, things that you don't want to believe.
But the voice is so intoxicating, you cant help but think its right.

That's why most people with anxiety need reassurance for every little thing. That's the only thing that stops the voices.

The hard part is asking for that reassurance. Because anxiety weighs you down like an anchor to a ship.

No matter how hard you try to convince yourself you have a problem, and need help, that anchor keeps your mouth shut. It tells you that ur being dramatic.

Everything is normal.

What you are experiencing is common.

If you ask for help you will be considered weak. And that if the average person can deal with it,

So.Can.You.

So suck it up, and listen to the voices as they fog up any form of common sense from your mind.

The storm is blinding.

But all it takes is a simple action. A simple thing that is physical proof, that the voices are wrong.

And in the moment your world will be clear.

The anchor is raised.

And the sky's clear.

The ocean is calm enough for you to sail away.

But as all things do, that moment will end.

The sky will grow dark again.

Rinse and repeat.

Until you become strong enough to fight you own mind.

The only thing that will save you, is the reassurance that your anxiety won't let you believe you deserve.
