2. The origin

Hey! this chapter is rather small, maybe 500-1000 words, its really just how they came to be, hence it will be short.

also keep in mind this is a dream, though the meeting and ending of the dream did happen, perhaps not in Victorias memory though *wink wink*

i forgot to say, the part where she wakes up ISNT a dream. just to clarify, anyways. i think im finished for today.

Victoria Dreamed about Thalia this night, she dreamed about the moment they met.

𝐼𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒹𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂. . .

Victoria was on the swings at a playground, the playground had swings, slides, sandpits, flowers, the sight itself was beautiful. In the corner of Victorias eye she had spotted a girl, about her age. she had short brown hair with beautiful eyes, though too far away to tell the color, Distracted by the girl, before she knew it Victoria laying on the ground, she had fell off the swing and grazed her knee. She held back tears of pain and stood up, The girl from before was now standing above her holding out her hand.

"Need a hand?" She asked Victoria.

Victoria puts her arm forward, holding the girls hand and being pulled up.

"Thank you, um, i'm Victoria by the way, Victoria Aurelius." She said awkwardly.

"Thalia Primula!" The girl responded while smiling.

Her name was Thalia, Victoria smiled back. this small incident sparked a great bond between Victoria and Thalia. Victoria sat back onto her swing, Thalia followed, sitting on the swing beside her. The both of them enjoyed the time together, just swinging. After a few minutes Victoria hopped off the swing as it was time for her to leave.

"i have to leave now, thank you so much for talking to me. i don't have many friends" Victoria said to Thalia.

"Oh, okay. Heres my number, in case you want to talk again. I do not have many friends either" Thalia chuckled about the fact they both supposedly had no friends.

Victoria rode home, on her way home, the sky changed color, all of a sudden it went from a blue sky to a black sky, pitch black, The only things keeping light was the street lamps. After a whole 2 minutes the sky turned white, wait no, she Victoria was just in her room now, she looked around in confusion, until she got a phone call from Thalia, Victoria picked it up.

"Hello? Thalia?" Victoria said.

"Hey! how are you?" Thalia sounded different, her voice was now robotic, perhaps her service was bad.

"Uh, i'm fine! you?" Victoria asked, after 5 seconds there was no response, just breathing, it didnt sound like normal breathing, it was deep breaths, one after another.  Victoria ran to the front door thinking something was wrong with Thalia, when she exited there she was, Thalia was in the front yard of Victorias house, behind her, was a bunch of black smoke, or at least thats what Victoria saw at first, once she got closer she realized it wasn't smoke, it was the cloaked figure. It was taking something from Thalia, Victoria was frozen, she couldn't move. Victoria realised what was happening, Thalias pupils were disappearing, slowly. Meaning this figure, was taking the soul of Thalia. After a good 10 seconds the creature disappeared into thin air, Thalias body laid on the ground, dead. 

Victoria closed her eyes, once she opened them she was on the floor in her room, Sweating. It was all a dream, right? no, that wasn't a coincidence, and that sure as hell was not a dream. it was a nightmare.

She stood up, picked up her towel and made her way to the bathroom to take a shower. She took off her pajamas and turned on the shower knobs, after the temperature was just right, she stepped inside the shower and washed herself.

After her shower, Victoria dried herself, walking to her cupboard to get dressed into todays clothes, she wore a black hoodie and jeans, she brushed her hair, put on her socks and shoes and proceeded to walk downstairs. she contemplated the dream she had, did that creature kill Thalia? It is the second time she had seen this creature within two days.

Victoria stood at the door exiting it to get ready to buy the items for the journey to Mortem, she walked to her bike and jumped on, right before she started riding she heard a voice, a familiar one.

"Victoria! hey, where are you going?" The voice was a soft voice which sounded as if it was coming from a female.

Victoria turns her head and to her surprise the voice was coming from one of her few friends. It was Asuka, She came to Culmel all the way from Tokyo. She had long brown hair, she was known for being away from school alot for no reason, unlike Victoria who is away due to the events of what happened to Thalia.

"Asuka? I havent seen you in forever. Im uh, im bringing Thalia back." Victoria said nervously.

Asuka sighs and looks Victoria straight in the eyes and firmly says"

"Victoria, Thalia is gone."

"That isnt true! okay i know how to bring her back, i do!" Victoria shouts.

"Okay, show me then, hm?" Responds Asuka.

"I.. its too dangerous Asuka you cant come" This response of Victorias opens Asukas eyes widely, she is now very curious.

"Look i've probably done lots of things much more dangerous, just show me." Says Asuka.

"If you say so..."

The end of this chapter.

I know it is short but its because it was plainly supposed to be a flashback inside of a dream which turned into a nightmare.
