"You know the more you move the longer this is gonna take right?" I say trying to cut Carls' hair. I swear this boy is trying to get his ear cut off.

"I'm trying." The child groans. Fidgeting some more.

"Well don't get mad at me when your hair looks as bad as Shanes. Seriously have you seen it?" I giggle. Carl chuckles as I continue to cut his hair.

The day started out quiet. There wasn't as many people at camp as there normally is. Glenn, my twin brother, and a few others went out to the city of Atlanta to scavenge for supplies.

Glenn and I are inseparable. I think it's a twin thing. Glenn is older than me by 2 minutes and 36 seconds. We're identical twins; meaning that we pretty much look the same. Other than the fact that he is a man and I am not. Thank god.

"Ok. I'm almost done," I say finishing up Carls hair.

"Do you hear that?" He asks.

In the distance it sounded like a car alarm, and it sounded like it was coming closer.

"Talk to me Dale!" Shane yells.

Dale is standing on top of the RV with his binoculars. "I can't see anything yet." The older man replies.

"Is it them? Are they back?" Amy asks to no one in particular.

I know exactly who it is. A red sports car comes speeding up to the camp.

Then my idiot brother steps out the car. Of course he is the only one dumb enough to leave the car alarm on.

"Turn that damn thing off Glenn!" I yell coming up to him.

"I don't know how," He responds with a cheeky smile.

"Pop the hood!" Shane yells racing up to the car. Glenn opens the hood and Shane starts ripping out some wires finally turning the alarm off.

"You're one stupid son of a bitch you know that?" I ask him.

"Hey sis just be happy I'm alive." He smiles.

"Well with the look that Shane is giving you, you might not be for much longer." I say looking at the scowl on Shanes face. Glenn gulps nervously looking at Shane.

"Are you crazy, driving this wailing bastard up here? You tryna' drive every walker for miles?" Shane yells.

"I think we're ok" Dale says trying to ease the tension.

"You called being stupid ok?" Shane looks to him.

"Well, the alarm was echoing all over the hills. It's gonna be hard to pinpoint the source. I'm not arguing. I'm just saying. It wouldn't hurt you to think things through a little more carefully next time, would it?" Dale asks Glenn.

"Sorry." Glenn says awkwardly. "Got a cool car." I roll my eyes at him.

"Is everyone ok?" I ask stepping forward.

"Yea everyone is fine. Well not so much for Merle-"

Glenn was cut off by a truck pulling up to camp. Andrea immediately ran towards her sister, Amy. That's when a man I didn't recognized stepped out of the van.

"Who's the cop?" I ask Glenn.

"New guy. He helped us get out of the city." He explains.

"I'm glad you're not dead." I tell him pulling him into a hug.

"The world can't get rid of me that easily." He laughs.

"DAD! DAD!" Carl screams.

It really was a beautiful sight. Carl ran into the arms of his dad; Lori not far behind him. So this is the man that Carl has told me so much about. It brought tears to my eyes.
