(Y/N) POV

I woke up from my sleep after my alarm went off.

Me:*yawns* Shut up...

I was about to throw the alarm clock when I saw the date.

Me:... Right. School starts today.

I got off the bed and lazily walked into the bathroom with a towel to clean myself up.

Me:*yawns* I didn't sleep well last night.

After about five minutes in the shower, I dried myself and reached out of my uniform.

Me:*put on a blazer* Hup.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

Too diligent.

Me: Let's loosen this up a bit.

I said and adjusted my necktie.

After I have done it, I cleaned up my room a little and put some money on the bedside table.

Well, the money was for the landlady.

Me: She said she'd come over to collect my rent, so...

I put my key beside the money before leaving the house with my bag.

In a bus
(Y/N) POV

I got on the bus and looked around, trying to find a vacant seat.

I found one beside a black-haired girl wearing a uniform. She was reading a book.

I walked up to her and...

Me: Mind if I sit here?

Girl:... No, go ahead.

Me: Thanks.

I set my bag down and took my seat.

I then took a quick look at the girl beside me.

She was wearing the same uniform as me, so I just gonna assume we went to the same school.

I looked back in front.

Me*thought*: Well, she doesn't have the look of a normal high school girl, it's best to not get involved with her.

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

Not a second later, I heard someone arguing about giving up a seat to an old lady.

I opened my eyes a little and looked at where the argument occurred.

From what I could see and hear, there was a male student sitting on a priority seat.

And there was a female student trying to convince the male student to give up the seat to the old lady.

Both of them were wearing the same uniform as me and the girl beside me.

Me*thought*: Well, I understand it's just appropriate for youngsters to be considerate with people older than them and that's a priority seat after all, but from my point of view, it was the lady's fault for riding the bus this hour. And there are no rules saying youngsters can't sit on a priority seat. A seat is still a seat, first come first serve. Also, why'd you just ask that guy over there, how about the others? I'm pretty sure there's someone kind enough to give up their seat.

I then glance at the girl beside me for a few seconds before closing my eyes back.

Me*thought*: Well, of course, that someone is not us. Neither me nor this girl.

School
(Y/N) POV

Me:*yawns* Didn't get even an inch of sleep.

I mumbled while walking out of the bus.

"Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School".

A school that was built by the Japanese government to nurture the new generations of children that will sustain the country in the future.

As I was spacing out, a girl's voice brought me out of my trance.

???: Excuse me.

Me:*looks to my right* Hmm?

It was the same girl that sat beside me on the bus.

Me: Oh, it's you.

Girl: You. You threw glances at me before. Not one, but two. Why did you do that?

Me*thought*: Well, just be honest. It's not like I'm a bad guy or anything.

Me: Well, I have a habit of observing people.

Girl: Stalker.

Me: Whatever, but the first glance was simply to make a quick observation. And the second one... I just thought maybe you'll give up your seat to the old lady.

Girl: No. I had no intention to. How about you? Why didn't you give up your seat?

Me: I simply couldn't find any merits in doing so.

Girl: Is that so? Then about your first glance, what did you get from it?

Me: "Don't come close to her. You'll regret it." That's what I get.

Girl: And you got that just from a simple glance? You really are a jerk.

Me: Doesn't call someone a jerk in your first conversation with them is inappropriate?

Girl: You're one to talk.

She said and walked away.

Me: Maybe I'm being too honest.

I said and also started walking too.
