A few days later
Class 1-D
Lunch Time
(Y/N) POV

It wasn't long until everyone formed their groups.

Well, I'm still alone of course. And it wasn't just me.

Horikita: You're pathetic.

Me: You're one to talk.

Horikita: Yes, because I like to be alone.

She said and ate her sandwich.

I looked out at the window.

Mev You look better when your mouth is closed.

Horikita: What was that?

Me: Nothing.

I stood up and walked to the door.

Me*thought*: Maybe I'll hit up the cafeteria.

As soon as I got out of the class, a classmate of mine approached me.

Kushida: Um... (L/N)-kun, right?

Me:*looks at her* Yeah. Um... Kushida?

Kushida:*smiles* Thanks! I'm so glad you remembered my name!

Me: You had arguments with that blonde guy on the bus, so it's kinda hard for me to not remember you.

Kushida: I-I see.

Me: Do you need anything from me?

Kushida: Um... Can we talk?

Me: Huh, sure. Not like I have anything to do.

Kushida: Thanks!

We started to walk away from the class.

Kushida then stopped at staircases and I stopped too.

Kushida: (L/N)-kun, you seem very close to Horikita-san.

Me: I wouldn't say that. I said something rude to her just now.

Me*thought*: Well, I wasn't lying. She looked cute earlier.

Kushida: Eh? Did she hear it?

Me: No, apparently not.

Kushida: But still, you're the only one she ever talks to. I want to be friends with everyone in school. So I asked Horikita-san for her contact information, but she turned me down...

Me: You sure you didn't hurt her feeling or anything?

Kushida: No, and let me finish my sentence first, (L/N)-kun!

Me: My bad. What did she say after she turned you down?

Kushida:*sad tone* She said she doesn't want to be friends with anyone.

Me: I think that's how just she is. She said the same thing to me too.

Suddenly she closed the gap between us and held my hands.
