I was tired it's been a week since my coronation was announced and a whole load of work was on my shoulders yoongi hyung visited me even with his busy schedule. nnvnvnvn
I laid my head on the side of the table and looked outside the window it's gonna be raining soon. I shut my eyes feeling drowsy but opened them when I heard a flapping sound, I saw a letter at my window I quickly looked around before walking towards the window I picked up the letter it was all black, it had a symbol of a fallen kingdom which I could barely recognize but that explains why it was struck, that didn't matter because as soon as I saw the symbol i stuffed it in my pocket and ran towards the library, I had see it somewhere before while I was going through the books.
Time skip
I searched for as long as possible but I couldn't find the book I was looking for, I made a mess everywhere surely someone would notice that I was there.
That's when someone tapped my shoulder as I screamed at that person
Grandfather who had a mischievous smile on his face "Jimin surely you weren't stealing anything to shout so loud? "
" Ahhh grandfather you scared me and no I wasn't stealing but people will still be surprised/shocked/scared if you sneak up on them like that!
"hmmm is that so but I thought you were looking for something very important? "
He pulls out a book from behind him
" So you were the one who had it, you knew what I was looking for?
"hmm here take a look, this symbol belongs to the kingdom of Rixenta (now Ceraera). It's a fallen kingdom from 20 years ago now I think you should read the letter to know better "
" How did you know I..."
"I know many things you aren't aware of my boy just so you know I made all the necessary arrangements. "
I nod my head squinting my left eye, I read the letter,
"Look forward to meet you, the future crown of the kingdom of vadronia see you soon at xxxx"
" So who's this grandpa...? " I look around hmmm where did he go? , so by arrangements he meant he wants me to go there, I should go for a change of pace"
King of vadronia's pov
" Do this then we can send him to the kingdom of Akira, since the queen is also looking for a suitor for the princess it's a wonderful choice but make sure no one finds out"
The servants nod before leaving the room as if this works out it will be easier to deal with my son
" Your Majesty" The queen walks in timidly, this woman did she hear all that? I should deal with this trouble too??
"You heard it, I believe you have nothing to ask?"
She stammers "n.. no- b.. But- he's your son... Y... You should ask for his consent...before you decide... H.. his marriage"
" H..his?, " I mock her "Can't you speak properly? What an idiot you are, His marriage? is none of his or your business I am the king here you better keep it in that dumb mind of yours if anyone finds out about this you can sleep in that dungeon for a few weeks more" I yelled at her, surely she shook up with just these words, how pathetic
I walked past her as she sank to the floor.
Y/n's pov
" Jhope do you have any idea of where we are going?? "
"of course I do I have studied all the books in the library this is a piece of cake "
He gave his brightest smile
"Stop smiling, will you? , your smile is too bright I can't keep my eyes open!!"
Jhope laughs loudly making everyone laugh along with him, he surely changes the mood of everyone which is why he's so famous.
Time skip
" I am going to die, it's already night when will we reach!!!!!!"
"we will reach by tomorrow morning y/n so we should stop and get some rest, there should be a freshwater river around here somewhere we should be able to drink from there! "
" Tomorrow What!! Why didn't you just say so any sooner? I can't keep up I am so tired" I whined as I jumped off the horse and walked to marriane
" Get me a change of clothes and come with me, I am gonna take a dip in the river"
"you w.. What? " Jhope asked completely baffled by the fact that I knew about a river being here
" You're not the only book worm jhope, "
I chuckle "and its unlikely for the something to pop out the water, let's go marriane "
"yes miss"
