"Thor really needs to leave the 'Trying to slink by' to you." Rachel gives her brother a side look, he sends her a quick smirk.
"Thor is too much of a brute to sneak, you aptly described him as a bull in a china shop. Never one to take a moment and actually make a plan, just run right in and swing Molnjir." Rachel hums and turns her head towards Loki a little.
"So like sending the Hulk in to do mine or Nat's job?" The blanch that makes its way across Loki's face causes Rachel to snicker, turning her head and hiding her mouth with the back of her hand as though trying to hold in her mirth.
"Even Barton or Tony would have more finesse than Thor." Loki mutters his expression dark at the thought of the Hulk.
"Well Clint is an assassin just as much as Natasha is, and I'm not too sure about Tony, he's as subtle as, well no offence, but a castle made of nothing but gold." This time Loki scoffs, rolling his eyes.
"Speaking of, I know that your rooms are mainly gold and red, what would you like to add?" Loki asks, his face still turned forward, though tilted a little towards his sister as she mimics him as she ponders.
"I will admit seeing Tony's colours was nice last night, you know in the dark. The sun reflecting off the gold though, I was awake with the dawn," Loki's nose wrinkles a little in sympathy, "I miss the colours of my suit."
"Hmm, so blacks and dark blues?"
"It's more navy than dark blue, and the black is actually a very deep purple. Not that many people realize unless you see it in the direct sun and can see the undertone of the red that's in purple." Rachel quickly corrects him for overgeneralizing her colours, in return, he hums casting a side-eye towards his sister.
"But you wish to keep some of Tony's colours." Rachel sends him a quick disparaging look with a raise of her brow.
"Somewhere far away from the sun. I just don't see how Tony deals with those colours, I mean Tony has always wanted to garner attention, but I do hope he maybe comes up with a suit that is a bit more subtle than a bloody sports car with a Cherry Bomb on the exhaust." Loki blinks and turns his head further towards Rachel in confusion.
"I understood everything until that last sentence."
"You know about sports cars, I showed you some in a few videos," Loki nods turning back towards his mother, "A Cherry Bomb is something that you put in the exhaust system, it's full of glass which makes the sound of the car a lot louder than what you heard in the video. Mmm, have you stood next to someone who blows a horn?" Rachel asks in an attempt to give him an idea of the noise that a Cherry Bomb gives.
"Yes, as the second Prince I've heard many horns, and at times been right next to the person."
"Now imagine instead of standing next to them, they're able to stand in your ear facing towards your eardrums, and then multiply that by at least ten."
"How unpleasant, and people attach this to their vehicles?" Loki winces a little at the thought of the noise.
"Yes, because they think it makes them sound cool, and of course, you can hear a Cherry Bombed car for miles away with how loud it is. It's actually been made illegal in some states in America to attach it to your car, and in the United Kingdoms, it's illegal to have anything but the maker's exhaust on the vehicle. Though the only reason it's considered illegal in places in America is because of noise disturbance. But people can build their own Cherry Bombs and attach them to the car, but if the Police are called on you for a noise complaint then you have to take it off."
"And you are calling Tony's signature look of his suit as subtle as a Cherry Bomb?" Loki asks now, highly amused by it.
