Zerefs pov:

I sat up letting out a sigh. I wanted to forget those times for good and never return to the damage brought to my peaceful place. As I sat down a bit I leaned back an exhale leaving the corners of my mouth.

"well I was once the king if what you earth dwellers call hell" I would say

Sariah would soon look at me wide eyed. A shivering gulp rolled down her throat. He lips would then open slightly.

"W-what do you mean by that..." She asked.

"I mean that I used to be what you crowned as Satan. Long ago when I once sat upon the throne of the underworld I brought peace and prosperity, but once a mere fallen angel fell upon my plane. He plotted... schemed.....  and eventually built an army to over throw me." I let out another sigh. I seemed to feel uneasy a tear falling.

"Even my 7 chosen to wield my power betrayed me... but I doubt that was of their control. However I refuse to let them corrupt another world....." I began to stand "the seven chosen were me splitting my power in half. Creating the Seven most deadly of sins" I walked towards her and gave a reassuring look.

"I see so then your just a demon looking to right the wrong of his fellow comrades..." Sariah simply blinked. Her lips firmed. Guard up. I kinda liked the energy. Like a rose bush.... Sweet at sight. But painful if you pick it wrong. I began walking towards the door and placed a hand on the knob.

"And where do you think your going" she perked up a bit. A smirk on her face as she glanced at me.

"I-I uh was gonna go and find a place to sleep" I responded. She approached me taking my hand off the door.

"You're unwell. Stay here for the night. Im sure with those dull eyes you could use some sort of company" she gave me a warm smile.

"I-if you insist..." he followed her. She lead him into the living room. Laying out a perfect spread on the sofa. Fluffing pillows and even making sure to add a second spread of blankets.

"There you go, I hope you are comfortable if you need anything I'll be in the other room" She said turning the lights out. She went into the other room. I laid down and let out a sigh. I simply thought. Flashes of the pst. Fragments of her face constantly rippling through his mind. As he opened his eyes and rubbed his head a bit.

"I don't wish to do this anymore..." I said as I leaned up. I would look around the room seeing pictures and decor of sheer magnificence.  I would then yawn as I kept staring into the abyss of the room.

"Do you need company?" I heard a voice call as I looked back. It was Sariah and she was in her night gown. Looking a bit scared in a way.

"Y-yeah I would like that..." I respond.

She nods and moves forward and laid next to me. I felt a bit flustered by the act but my dimmed eyes simply ignored it. I felt next to nothing by the cuddle. There were reasons for this but he left that side away.

"Im terrified Zeref..." I heard her say. Her eyes becoming low. Saddened a bit but fearing the worst.

"Why is that..." I asked as I then turned towards her our faces next to one another.

"Those demons weren't like the ones we are used to facing.... They were A teir or higher...." She responds

"Remember what I said... I will protect this plain from them... rest assured." I said. A bit uneasy at the last fight. The weakest of the seven. Nearly put me at deaths door.

I began feeling my eyes fall weary. Sleep engulfed me and I passed out.

-the next day-

I awoke to smell a great odor of cooking. I leaned up rubbing my eyes.  I looked around and walked into the kitchen.  Seeing Sariah cooking something quite delectable.

"Morning🎵" she would chirp. A certain reminiscent hung the room. Reminding me of my past a more annoying then anything.

"Hrmph mornin..." I responded. I walked to the table and sat down. My sleepy eyes darting from side to side. I studied the room and as Sariah came to the table with plates of a well cooked feast.

"Eat up.. we have a sighting northeast" she would say.
