Finishing up their breakfast, Zeref looked up to Sariah. Walking forwards hands in the pockets of his black and red jacket he would yawn.
"Alright where to?" He asked. Quite tenacious he was to get this over with. Though his entire plan was untold and Sariah still didn't trust the male she would clear her throat. A wave of a hand as she moved blue bangs from oceanic pearls she looked up at him.
"Northeast to a ghost town used to be known as Vermila" she explained. "Unexpected sighting of an fallen angel tribe apparently are hiding there, lucky for us you are here to help. Fallen angels can't be killed by demon slayers. However they can be killed by entities of the divine." She said with a frown.
"You call me divine yet your imagination is void, I would be on the dark side of that term if the word unholy even fit that, im a monster girl not a hero" he would nod in agreement to her request nevertheless.
"Lead the way and I'll leave them lamb to the slaughter" he would press digits to the bridge of his nose. Gold and umbral hues glistening to the sun. The woman before him let out a nod as she smiled.
"Don't get yourself hurt yeah?" She chuckled lightly. Her own posture seeming to relax a bit. Maybe the demon was wrong about her. As Zeref kept his eyes closed multicolored eyes changed to a black with light purple hues. A voice in his head roaring in resentment and hatred. A shake of his head and they returned to normal. He looked to the side to make sure he wasn't seen. He wasn't, even demons have their own demons to fight.
As she motioned to the door she grabbed her gear throwing them on her scythe and side arm holstered. To Zeref firearms were useless however, for her it seemed they were more then just tools, a failsafe? No weapons that even he would typically fear. But he was different, a demon with not only demonic powers but powers even the gods would come to fear.
Walking out behind her he followed her to their new destination. On the way the demon pulled out a box, containing smokes that he snagged from a store from before he revealed himself. His finger igniting a flame of red. A inhale took as he removed it.
"So tell me about yourself Sariah" he would offer. He wasn't good at small talk but maybe for once he wouldn't make a dull situation for the two.
"Well I grew up with the church, my family or well my father more specifically, wanted me to train to be what he calls the purifiers. But in all reality we are just demon slayers, or exorcists- whatever you wanna call em" she let out a sigh. She seemed not to love the idea.
"Have you ever thought about leaving the ordeal?" He asked as they came up to the entrance Zeref paused for a moment.
"Yeah many times, but they wouldn't like that much plus.... My own life isn't that big, this is the most entertainment I get I guess" looking up she would then sigh "alright guard up, we dont know wha-" before she could finish a rush of light energy rush forward towards her as Zeref stepped in front of her. His hand outstretched as the light was canceled the males own eyes gleamed with ferocity.
"You dare attack someone defenseless? All you angelicals are the same.... Cowards" Zeref spat as suddenly 4 angels appeared though they are fallen angels Zeref doesn't separate the group. As one of the four vanished and appeared behind with a blade charging to his back.
"ZEREF LOOK OUT!" Sariah called but to her surprised rips of flesh and cracks of bone came into effect as the pounding of a heart beat echoed the area. Fear snuck into the other three as they watched how easily the demon countered.
"Shhhhhh its alright now.... With just a squeeze you are dead" and with that Zeref closed his grasp. Blood splattered and the body went limp. His own gaze turning into a more livened feel.
"Y-you monster.... You killed him!" One of the remaining fallen angels would spit. Two charging in as 5 more appeared next to who seemed the leader.
As the two neared Zeref tossed the body towards them. His glare now more sadistic the bloodlust now getting to him. As the body collided to one of the males Zeref rushed forward clashing their skulls together. The crunch of bone and flesh molding together like a messy pottery maker echoes. His own grin widening as he looked towards the 6 left.
"Anyone else? Ive got plenty more then that...." His own resonating energy skyrocketed after the three were killed.
Sariah watched the chaos as she thought to herself. Is he absorbing the god like energy that remained in the fallen angels? If so that makes Zeref an ally worth having, but If he ever decided to go against them. No one would be able to stop him.
As the leader watched he gave another silent wave. The 5 that arrived charging as Zeref gave a menacing glare shouting "YOU MAY THINK YOU HAVE ESCAPED ALGORITH, BUT I AM INEVITABLE" he cackled as he reached into a swirled like void pulling out a sword of green. As green flames ignited he spoke once again "clockwork stop..." as time seemed to freeze one slash was made. "Clockwork forward" he further said as the 5 fell to the ground in two.
As the dust settled and crazed gaze and exhales commenced from the demonic being before hand. As Sariah watched she would stare speechless. She couldn't decide weather or not what he had done here was completely necessary.
A turn to behind him as a gold hue fell onto her. "Like I said Sariah, I am a monster..."
