secrets unraveled

- an: before this chapter starts i just want to say this chapter is gonna be quite long... the title really correlates to this chapter!! enjoy :)

you woke up to the sound of power snoring causing you to groan in annoyance. you flickered your eyes open, being blinded by the sunlight through the curtains in the bedroom you and power slept in.

you pushed powers leg off of your torso, attempting to get up from the mattress you were in. power did not know how to sleep at all and you hated sleeping with her because of that. you had no choice though, reze and himeno slept in another room while kobeni had a room to herself.

successfully getting off the bed, you made your way to the bathroom to do your business. flushing the toilet, you got up from the seat and continued to wash your hands. you thought to yourself for a while, staring into the mirror diving into deep thoughts.

'this is absolutely fucking insane. i don't want to be here, i want to be home. i don't know why we're here. i can't even blame kobeni. or do i? is this her fault? no. my best friend wouldn't do that, not to any of us. i don't know...'

you sighed as you turn the handle to turn off the sink realizing the water was still running after being lost into thought.

this was really getting to you. all you've been doing this entire time was drown yourself into your thoughts about what and why this is happening. luckily you have enough patience for today, today was the day you'd have everyone come over and have kobeni explain everything.

you exited the bathroom finding your way back to the room you slept to get your phone. with power still asleep on the bed, you tried not to make too much noise that would wake her up. you grabbed your phone off the charger and made your way back into the wide living room.

plopping on couch letting out a loud sigh, you decided to text yoshida about today. you wanted to remind him that they'd be coming over later. it was about 11am so you wouldn't blame him if he wouldn't reply quick.

you sent the text hoping he'd remember about the friend meeting happening today. you were a little nervous about what kobeni might spill, but you thought to yourself that you're strong enough to deal with what she might say. basically preparing yourself for the worst.

you set your phone down beside you and stood up to the kitchen as your stomach was beginning to make growling from hunger.

"there's only eggs and bread in the kitchen? are you fucking kidding me," you hiss at yourself. whoever set up this apartment for you and your friends didn't do a good job leaving food for any of you guys to consume.

you grabbed the carton of eggs and decided to make scrambled eggs with toasted bread. you wanted to make as much food for your friends because they'd eventually wake up hungry and bugging for food.

soon after starting to cook breakfast, reze came out of the room with messy hair and a red face. her cheeks always came out red right after waking up from a long slumber. you found it cute, it was almost as if she was still a little girl.

"ugh, yes," reze sniffed the atmosphere smelling and hearing the sound of eggs cooking. "i woke up hungry as hell, y/n." you giggled to yourself hearing reze's comment. you knew at least someone would be hungry as soon as they woke up.

"the eggs are almost done, reze," you said while letting the eggs sit for a while. "i texted yoshida about all of us coming here and talking to kobeni and having her explain everything to all of us." you turned off the stove, picking up the pan of eggs and pouring it onto a plate.
