they take a shower and kazuichi starts crying. that's literally it.

"Kazuichi, Gundham and I will be taking a shower, would you like to join?"
Sonia asked, walking into the room and turning the lamp on, it emitted warm light and at first, Sonia thought Kazuichi wasn't even in the room, before she saw the blankets shuffle and a lanky Kazuichi sit up tiredly.
"Eh, c-could you repeat that, please?"
Kazuichi murmured sleepily, Sonia almost gasped, but stayed quiet.
"Oh dear, what happened?"
Sonia asked, completely dismissing her previous question and now worrying about her boyfriend.
"Nothing, i'm fine."
Kazuichi sighed, getting up out of bed and stretching.
"What did you ask again?"
Kazuichi repeated his question, Sonia stood up worryingly.
"I asked if you wanted to join Gundham and I in the shower."
Sonia mumbled, pushing some of the hair out of Kazuichi's face.
All he did was chuckled heartedly.
He knew how worried Sonia was, but he didn't want her to.
He didn't want to even waste the princesses time, but he was.
"Sure."
Kazuichi smiled dishonestly in an attempt to ease Sonia's nerves, it seemed to work because a tiny, content smile appeared on her face.
"Come on then."
Sonia pulled Kazuichi with her hurriedly.
Gundham was already in the bath when they arrived, sitting down contently and crossing his arms confidently with a smirk on his face.
Thats something that Kazuichi envied, and also one of the reasons he loved Gundham. He was so confident. Truly confident, not a facade or an act.
Kazuichi was overthinking everything now.
He nervously sat in the bath, Sonia following after him.
"Is something the matter, Kazuichi? You seem.. Skittish."
Gundham inquired, great. Just great.
Was he that obvious?
"Hm? Oh- uh- nope. I'm good."
Kazuichi sighed, leaning into Gundham's neck.
"Are you sure?"
Sonia asked, Kazuichi nodded with a small 'mm-hm'.
"If you say so."
Sonia murmured, hugging both of them.
Gundham scooped some water in his hands and poured it on Kazuichi's head.
"You seem quite sorrowful,"
Gundham murmured softly.
"If you have anything you would like to say, please do. We will listen."
Gundham continued, Putting his hand on Kazuichi's head.
"Mh. Fine. Today sucked."
Kazuichi folded, Gundham smiled softly at the accomplishment and Sonia sighed softly, sitting herself and Kazuichi up.
Sonia held his face in a comforting grip and kissed his forehead.
Tears were already falling out of Kazuichi's eyes.
He was such a crybaby. Wasn't he.
"Who has done something horrible to you today? I will curse they're mortal soul."
Gundham asked, pulling both Sonia and Kazuichi into a hug.
"I- Uh- My- Uh... Uhm."
Kazuichi stuttered, 'for fucks sake just say it already!' he thought.
Sonia caressed his cheek comfortingly to ease his nerves.
"It's alright, take your time, sweetheart."
Sonia muttered, Kazuichi sighed in response as tears continued to fall from his eyes.
"Myself..?"
Kazuichi answered
"What?"
Sonia asked confused.
"Myself."
Kazuichi repeated more confidently in his answer.
"Explain. Please."
Sonia asked alarmed.
"It's just- I feel so.. Useless sometimes. I can never get anything done, I act annoying and weird, and I just hate it!"
Kazuichi cried, Sonia pulled him into a tight hug, kissing his head sweetly.
"Oh, dear. Who told you that?"
Sonia wiped Kazuichi's tears as Gundham pulled kazuichi between his legs and Sonia began to clean his hair and wash it.
"No- No one. Everyones so nice, but they only act like that till' I fuck something up and they leave me. Thats how it's always been, and i'm shocked you even have the time to care. You're a princess, nd' Gundhams practically royalty with how cool he is. No wonder your parents hate me, i'm nothing."
Kazuichi vented, Sonia furrowed her brows.
She hated her parents for the way they acted towards Kazuichi.
Because he wasn't born to a rich family, he had no self esteem, he was a mechanic and he dressed like a peasant.
"You are wrong. You are none of those things, my love. I absolutely adore you and I- we promise that we will never leave you. Right, Tanaka?"
Sonia was on top of Kazuichi as Gundham gave a promising nod.
"Yes. We will never leave you. I'd rather perish than have to abandon you."
Gundham smiled softly and kissed his cheek.
"I-.. Wow. I love you guys."
Kazuichi smiled happily, leaning into Gundham as he let his hair get washed.
"Shh. It's okay, go to sleep. We'll take care of you."
Sonia comforted, washing the conditioner out of his hair.
"You- You sure?"
He asked, Sonia nodded.
"Yes. It is alright."
Gundham added in addition.
No words left any of the trios mouths, Kazuichi was on Gundham's shoulder, fast asleep.
He loved them, they loved him, he was safe, he was happy, he was-
hm?
warm.
everything is warm..
is that a blanket?

Kazuichi woke up, only 10 minutes after he had fallen asleep in the bath.
He was fully dressed, and he was being hugged by Sonia and Gundham.
..
This was nice.
He smiled contently, shutting his eyes once again and snuggling up to his lovers.
"Rest well, my king and queen."
Gundham murmured.
"Sleep well, both of you."
Sonia responded.
"Mngh.. Night."
Kazuichi smiled ever so slightly.
drool fell from his mouth and he fell asleep again.
that was a nice shower.
