Me and Nick walk down the staircase just smiling at each other completely content. As we reach the doorway to outside I hear nick say
"Charlie...." I turn to look at him and respond with
"Yes Nick?"
"Remember when we were at that restaurant with Tara,Darcy,Elle, Tao, and Aled?"
"Before we went to the fair?"
"Yeah....."
"What about it?"
"We'll you remember how Darcy told us she was gonna propose to Tara with a promise ring and make a big deal so they could pretend they were actually getting married?"
"Yeah, it was really funny people kept congratulating them!"
"We'll that's when I started thinking about us, like us getting married....."
"Really? I started to think about it then too!" We both laughed
"I swear, Nick why are we like this!"
"I don't know but I love you!" I hug him quickly and we walk to the locker room entrance.
"I have to go now char!" Nick says
"Ok! I love you!"
"Love you too honey!" He walks through the glass double doors and a wave to him. He of course waves back with a grin!
Nick's POV:
I walk into the locker room with my bag and see all my mates getting ready. I look to Oliver (nicks friend he met at uni) and he looks back at me and says
"Hey mate!"
"Hey!" I reply
"You and Charlie looked awfully cuddly walking in!"
"Yeah about that...."
"What's up mate!"
"Well, I am planning to propose to him at halftime!" I say joyfully
"Wait really???"
"Yeah that's what I've been discussing with Coach! I wanted to make sure that he was okay with it before I just, you know, propose!" We both chuckle before I hear Oliver shout
" Hey guys guess what......" He waits for everyone's attention and then continues
"Nick over here is getting engaged tonight!" The whole team starts cheering I hear Sam ( another rugby friend from uni) say
" Charlie is one lucky guy!" A few other teammates follow up with
"Congrats mate!"
"You and Charlie are literal soulmates!"
"You two are perfect for each other!" I hear Sam again
"Are we gonna get to see the ring?" Everyone looks at me and I answer with
"Okay, but no one can say a word about it to Charlie!" I reach into my bag and pull out the ring.

I hear Oliver say
"You've really got to be in love to spend that much on a ring mate!" Me and the team laugh! I then hear coach yell out
"Get out here boys game starts in 45" we all rush out the locker room to the field.
Charlie's POV: I just dropped Nick off so I have about 50 minutes before I have to be back. I walk back to the dorm building and walk to my dorm. I found it funny that Nick was talking about getting married because I am planning to propose to him today after the game!
I have to grab my bag and the ring so I open the door to me and nicks dorm. I walk over to the bathroom and oven the bottom cabinet, that's where I hid his ring! I always get so happy when I see it! I hurry up because I am meeting all my friends at the gate they all know about the proposal! Elle and Tao insisted that they had to sit right with me and Tara and Darcy made sure they were gonna be next to us too, Aled was the first one I told about the proposal so he was gonna be there before it was even planned out!
I walk back towards the field and into the parking lot to meet up with my friends. I see them in a group talking and walk over.
"Charlie!" I hear Darcy yell out As I run over a little quicker
" Hey guys!"
"So Charlie are you ready for the big night?" Tao asks
"I think so! I really want to propose to him!"
"I'm so happy for you two!" Elle says
"So are we gonna get a glimpse at the ring or not?" Tara asks
"Yeah Charlie we have to see this ring!" Aled follows up with
"Okay, okay!" I reach into my bag and pull out the ring box

"Charlie! It's so pretty!" Elle exclaims
"It's perfect for Nick!" Tao says
"Damn Charlie! Tara take some notes!" Darcy says as we all burst into laughter!
" Darcy! Stop it!" Tara jokes
"Just making a point!" We all continue to laugh
"Guys, we have to get to the stands before all the front seats are taken!" Aled says.
