Chapter 4

Nicks POV:
The game starts in about 20 minutes because they just opened the stadium to viewers. After our pep-talk with coach and the team I pull my teammates aside to discuss the proposal.

"Oi, mates gather here!" I shout out as all my teammates gather around me.

"What's the plan Nick?" Sam asks and I lead the conversation with

"Okay,here's how this is gonna go! At half time as soon as everyone is off the field coach is gonna say over the loud speaker that there is an announcement. After the fans quiet down a bit he will continue with 'could mr.Charles spring please report to the field entrance' after Charlie heads down and is at the entrance coach is going to ask to blind fold him. As soon as that happens Sam, Oliver, Jake, and Cam you are gonna run out with the flowers and spread the petals, now Kaden, Chase, and Luke are going to place the candles down so it creates a walk way. Everyone understand so far?"

"Yeah!"
"Yep!"
"Understood"
"We got you nick!"

"Okay! After the boys put the candles down the rest of you are going to hold up the signs that say will you marry me backwards so Charlie won't see the letters. As soon as you guys are in place coach is gonna get on the speaker again and tell Charlie he can remove the blind fold and proceed up the walk way after he is there I am gonna walk down the walkway of candles still hiding the ring and I am going to say a little romantic speech and tell him to turn around and when he turns to you guys your gonna flip the signs in order as I kneel down with the ring and ring box!"

"Nick you are literally perfect for Charlie!"

"That's so romantic!"

"If god needed an example of soulmates you and Charlie would be it!"

"You 2 are so cute together!"

"I'm so happy for you mate!" After going over the proposal plan we all make sure we're ready and line up to enter the stadium. As we run out the crowd goes wild, and soon after, The game has begun.

Charlie's POV:

We are only a few people back in the line to enter the stadium we hand out tickets in and the usher shows us to our seats front row of the stands of course! Nick always gets me the tickets for the front we sit down because the game can't start till people have cotton mostly to there seats. We hear the announcements and get ready for the game to start. As we look at the field the teams come running onto the field I see a few teammates and then I see Nick, number 16, on the field. I scream and yell his name and he waves to me with a smile. Then game starts!

"Hey Charlie, what's the plan for tonight?" Darcy says in a foreseeing tone.

"Darcy!" I hear Tara say

"I just asked a question about after the proposal...."

"Nothing like that, we'll maybe something like that...." I say playing to what Darcy had implied

"Charlie spring! How dare you discuss such matters!" Tao says in and old lady accent. We all start giggling.

"But Charlie, I actually do want to know about how your gonna propose." Aled says softly

"Yeah, what are you thinking?" I hear Elle follow up with

"Honestly,I think that when he comes out of the locker room as always and I see him I'll tell him I have a question and then get down on one knee and well, you know, ask him to marry me!"

"That's so sweet!" Elle says

"Yeah it will be so cute!" Tara adds

"I think, we'll if nick says yes, we can go out to dinner after like with all 7 of us to celebrate, if it's okay with you guys..."

"Charlie are you middle of course we'll celebrate with you!" Tao says reassuring me.

"Okay then, that's the plan!"

Nicks POV
I got the ball and I have the chance to score so I run as fast as my legs can take me and tap the ball down 'Bzzzzzzzzz' the buzzer goes off and I realize, It's halftime.....
