First Person P.O.V - (Y/N)
(I apologize for this taking longer to come out, I've gotten stuck with adulting and hadn't had the time to update (plus my ADHD literally wants to focus on everything else 🙄). Hopefully I'll be able to get these out a bit quicker ✨)

-I held my hands together tight as I watched the lycans rush through the village before me, massacring the people that I used to talk to on a day to day basis. It hurt to watch them die, but it wasn't my duty to protect them. I couldn't be viewed as weak to Mother Miranda, she wanted them all dead anyways. She needed the space, for her darling Eva.
-"So much space for such a small child." I mutter to myself. "Makes me wonder if this really is just for her."
-I turn my head to the sound of rustling, and my eyes land on the rogue lycan that has come into view. Drool dribbles down his chin at the sight of me, colorless eyes staring back into mine as he hastily rushes at me with a hunger unmeasurable. Then, he's in my hand, my palm at his throat as I feel him squirm before me, claws attempting to carve into my forearm. My grip gets stronger slowly but surely, I'm watching the lust for blood in his eyes turn into an animalistic fear as it realizes it's not standing toe to toe with prey, that it's not above me on the food chain. Clawing at my arm becomes kicking at the ground, soil pushing beneath his toe nails as he whimpers like a dying dog. His bones are cracking due to my grip, and it's a satisfying pop that has him drop to a limp, and I finally let him go.
-Another body to join the rest. Just as useless and dead as everyone else. My fingers wiggle, my hand straining just slightly as I look down at the monster before me and I look back to the village.
-"Ethan Winters." I whisper. "Ethan."
-"I see you're looking for him too!" I jump, turning around to look at the much larger man in the carriage beside me. I didn't even hear him coming, yet here he was. "If I knew taking a vacation would lead to me coming back to a whole lot of news, I would've brought myself a bit of popcorn at least!"
-He laughs, and my eyes look him up and down before I furrow my eyebrows. "Who are you?"
-"Why, I'm the Duke. You're dear (Y/N), the lover of Beneviento and the orchestrator of all of this."
-"This? This isn't me." I motion to the village, and he shakes his head.
-"No, no. I know! But, I know what you are orchestrating. I know all of it.. Let me give you a word of advice, alright? No matter what, in the end, someone has to die. There's no running from it."
-"...Okay." I nod silently, glaring at him for a moment, before looking away, waiting for my moment.

-Ethan Winters had a shotgun and a pistol, and a few missing fingers to his name. The stranger to the village, an outsider, much like I was. He had a look in his eyes that showed that he was confused, but he also had the look of a man who knows how to take someone down. Powerful stance, fire power. He was a force to be reckoned with and he had a sense of pride that I admired. However, that was all a surface level observation.
-"Seems to me like you're missing something." I say, and he turned to me abruptly, his gun raising just slightly at the sight of my golden eyes peering through the darkness as I stood beneath a tree, right beside Dimitrescu's castle entrance.
-"Who the fuck are you?"
-"The first person that's come to your rescue." I lean off the tree and walk towards him, and I can tell he tenses at my presence, the sight of my golden eyes bringing him a sense of fear. Any closer and he was going to pick the fight option. "Rosemary Winters."
-"You know where she is?" His feet shift towards me, I've peeked his interest.
-"Enough to know you're going to have to fight like hell to get her." I say, although I'm unaware of what Mother Miranda did with the child. All that I truly know is that she had a meeting recently with the rest of the lords, not including me for obvious reasons. "I hate not being in the know either, but I also know what it's like to be completely alone and in danger."
-I turn my head to the sight of the crow that sits itself on top of the fence later and I smile up at it, not an ounce of fear in my expression. She made me this way, she'd have to expect it. Although, I'm sure she's far too foolish to even know the extent of what she's created.
-"So what?" Ethan asks me, and I turn to him once again.
-"You've got an ally Ethan, maybe two, or more." I shrug. "This door leads towards the castle. The first piece is in that Church and the second is down by the house over there." I nod my head in that direction. "You need an escort?"
-"You don't look human."
-I pause for a moment, before raising my eyebrows. "How much so?"
-"You look it at first, it's just your eyes."
-I smile slightly, nodding. "There's a story to a lot of it.. I was given a gift that I didn't want."
-"...Yeah, sounds like something I've been through the ringer for."
-"So what are we waiting for Ethan? I'm all hands on deck for getting Rose back."
-"I'm not waiting for shit."
-there was no hassle getting through that wheat farm, heading towards Luiza's house. I'm recalling all the way back to the beginning, just before I was sent to Donna's house, walking up this road with a basket full of stuff I can't even remember. I recall Luiza's sister, especially as a lycan brushes towards me full force and makes the mistake of landing his neck right into my palm, crushing his spine with a sickening crunch. Never minding the look Ethan gives me as I walk past him, I begin to recall the memories I spent with the people here. People that I never got that attached to, or maybe I did, and I just can't feel it anymore.
-I certainly didn't feel as we walked into the shed, and I got a good look at Elena, and I could see the shock in her eyes. Then her father, covered in his own blood and harmed, and I see the way she looks at me. Like some sort of monster, no different from the lycans, especially as I use my bloodied hand to scratch the itch on my face. Maybe, she's right. Maybe I am no different. But all in all, I walk with them to get back inside Luiza's house.
-"Mother Miranda has ALWAYS protected us!" I can't help but snicker under my breath, and that earned a couple looks from my former friends.
-"Yeah, Mother Miranda." The crow behind me squawks, and I take a deep breath in and sigh.
-The trip getting through the doors of Luiza's house were short, although tense. The idiot with the gun I couldn't even bother to remember never ceases to amuse me.
-the looks at the rest of the village, or what's left of it, gives me when I walk into the room is just as hilarious to me. Anton and his attitude, going around yelling at everyone he can with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.
-"Pathetic, aren't you?" I ask, Anton turning to look at me as I say it.
-Luiza stopped before anything else comes about, and then they're praying. Ethan's obligated to join, and I hold my tongue as I smile, leaning against the wall. Mother Miranda, their lord and savior, and yet they were none the wiser that their God was the reason they were all going to die. It's not like the Lycans entered the village, going past their allowed barrier for no reason.
-Everyone spreads apart, and as the fire smashes against the ground and Leonardo loses himself, splitting Luiza's head into two bits, I figure it's enough time spent in this place. I'm no longer welcome, I can tell that much, after I have Leonardo's head crushed beneath my foot, the widow crying to herself and Elena reasonably losing her mind behind Ethan.
-"Yeah, no." I shake my head, scraping the brain off the bottom of my shoe on the rug beside Leonardo's head, using the moisture to put out the fire beside me as well, even as it grows little by little. "Human isn't necessarily part of my anymore.. Your Mother Miranda made sure of that."
-"She gave you a gift?" Allen asks, and I turn my head just slightly towards his drunken curiosity.
-"Would you believe me, if I told you your God didn't love you?" I raise my brows at him, and I crack a smile before I turn around, walking past Ethan into the hallway. "There's a screwdriver in the kitchen, and the next piece was in that caged box next to the house."
-"Where are you going?"
-"I'm getting a head start. After all, I've got a schedule to uphold."
-I sort of feel stupid for leaving as I sat in the shed, listening to Mother Miranda kill the fool with the rifle. It should've been obvious to me that she happened to be the deranged hag, and I learned that soon enough after I watch Ethan interact with her for a second time.
-But now, he's heading straight for the bait. He is going to be captured by Heisenberg, and the metal man is going to put on a show. Screaming and yelling at each other to prove their not partners, throwing Ethan down into a death run, with seemingly no escape. Meanwhile, while Mother Miranda has her eyes on the prize, I'm heading straight for mine.
