First Person P.O.V - (Y/N)

-The ceiling began caving in, and I couldn't see through the dust and dirt. I just know that there was a body on top of mine and I had to cough out all that fell into my mouth, and my head started pounding as memories flashed through my mind. Miranda's blood had been mixing into the soil for centuries, and I had caught a bit more than I expected. Plus, all of the corpses dug six feet under were not helping neither.
-I wiped the chunks off my face and felt cold hands clasp my head, and I opened my eyes to spot Donna holding me with a distraught look on her face. I reach up to her and reciprocate the affection, looking all over her to see the only thing she got was a couple of rips in her clothes and dirt patches.
-"D-Donna--" I cough the bit stuck in my throat. "Jesus, are you-"
-She wraps her arms tight around my body and I pull mine around her shoulders. A surge of warmth escapes into the hollow pit of my chest, and I had forgotten for a while what it was like to feel something. I feel her face bury into my neck and the hardness of Angie's body presses against my stomach just a bit.
-"What happened?" I ask, and the woman muttered an I don't know into my body. I look around, spotting Heisenberg slowly rise to his feet and walk over to check on Salvatore who was evidently not feeling good.
-I attempt getting up, Donna helping me, and I look up to spot the hole in the ceiling, Megamycete roots trying to block it out but to no avail. Yet another explosion hits, a bit further away now, causing us to rock about on our feet. Donna and I hold on to one another to make sure neither of us tumble.
-"God fuckin'--" I hold my breath for a moment, and I take Donna's hands as we walk to the opening. "We can get out now at least."
-"All that sharpening rocks for fuckin' nothing." Heisenberg walks up beside me, putting his jacket back on as a cold breeze blows in and bites at our skin. "You got any more power in you?"
-I turn to Heisenberg and pause for a moment, before turning to Donna. She then looks at me, and she can somehow read my mind. She shakes her head, lips pressing together.
-"You can't." She says, gripping my hands tighter. "No more."
-"No more." I nod, and I look up. "I'll give Heisenberg all I can, we get out of here, take down Miranda.. We'll see what we can do after that."
-I watch as a helicopter flies overhead, and Heisenberg is already getting ready to hoist us up. We didn't take our time to consider any other possibilities, my feet hitting Heisenberg's hands, and my hands reaching the ledge, pulling myself up before they pull Donna up. Heisenberg is the next to come up, and I silently curse to myself about how absolutely heavy the man is, before we're all on our feet.
-"There's no way you're going to be able to pull Mother up." Daniela says, walking over to look up at us with sad looking eyes. "You must leave us here."
-"I don't think we have a choice." Heisenberg mutters, and I get down low, looking at all who's left in the cave.
-Yet another explosion rocks earth, causing me to grip tight against what is left of the grass in hopes that I don't fall back in, my knees digging into the dirt. I clenched my teeth for just a moment, and I nod silently to the girl below me.
-"You and your sisters got to keep this covered, I don't think your mother can do anything." I tell them, slowly getting back up onto my feet and hoping to myself that another bomb doesn't hit.
-"We can handle ourselves." Cassandra snaps, and I roll my eyes silently before I turn to Donna.
-"Do either of you Have any idea where Mother Miranda is?"
-"If I knew the bitch any better," Heisenberg started, "she'd be working on that sacrifice right about now. Ethan Winters is probably working it out with her at this very moment."
-"Well we ought to get there before the idiot gets himself killed." I hiss, already heading in that direction, having known where the altar was.
-I start thinking to myself, considering that maybe it wasn't Ethan who lured us to this trap, and it was most likely Mother Miranda. Who else would be behind her shooting a shot through her shoulder? It's the only thing that makes sense. Ethan would have never been able to outrun us like that.
-Another blow hits the ground, and I stumble off to my right, landing into a tree. I had only been inhuman before a short portion of my lifetime, but now it feels like it's the only thing I know. The fact that I can't hold on to my stances really bothering me. It doesn't bother me as much as the fact that I witness a lycan hop into my view, and he's rushing at me in an instant.
-There's a part of me that's telling me to run, considering that I don't have the ability to attack him. Then another part of me is telling me to fight, thinking that I still have the ability to take him down. But nothing overrides the thought of Donna, but I don't have much time to think it through as the woman herself swung a piece of wood against the side of it's face. I can't believe I even flinched when she did it.
-I step back as I watch her slam that same piece of wood into the skull of the beast, not even bothering to take a breath as she kept going until there wasn't much left of it's face, Angie's legs swinging about on her hip. Blood stained those pale hands and her chest heaves with air before she looks at me. I feel my mouth hang open before I give her my best awkward thumbs up and a smile.
-"Damn." Heisenberg laughs, before he's back on his feet without thought, running towards his factory first to get his soldats I imagine.
-"What the hell does he think he's doing?" I ask, walking up beside Donna and she silently takes my hand. "I'm sure he has to know that I don't have enough power to power him and his army?"
-"I-I don't know what he's thinking."
-"Whatever. Come on, we gotta get to Miranda." I pull towards the alter, watching as the Megamycete roots wrap around the area I want to go for, but then I'm tugged back. I turn around to face Donna, looking at her with a questioning look. "What's wrong?"
-"We should run." Silence fills the wind, despite the boom off in the distance. "We-we should just, go, and it'll be just the two of us. Neither of us will die, and maybe we can live your life."
-"Donna--"
-"Please, (Y/N)." Donna puts both palms against mine, and I can see the desperation in her eyes. "It can be just us, we can live in a cabin hidden by the forest, we can.. We can live--"
-"I can't do that."
-"(Y/N)--"
-"I didn't bring everybody else into this, just because I wanted it to just be you and me." I say, shaking my head. "I love you, Donna, but this isn't about us."
-"But we can't win this!" Donna snaps back, no malicious intent behind her voice but she's obviously fearful. "We can't win with all of us!"
-"We have to!" I snap back. "I can't go running with you, I can't be one of the last people alive again! I can't live with myself for leaving people behind!"
-Donna reaches up and wipe the tearing up eye she has, and I can see the Megamycete in her other seems to be stiff, almost going white. "I-I don't want to lose you. I don't want to lose us."
-I grasp her face with my hands as gentle as I can before I lean forward and press my lips against hers, feeling her kiss me back as the wind of yet another drop blows against us. The warmth from before surges back through me and I had finally caught grasp of the idea of how tired we were. All of this fighting for freedom, hiding in the shadows and hoping to God our lives wouldn't end-- It's no wonder Donna wants to run and just live, but.. I pull back, looking her in the eye and shaking my head.
-"You won't." I tell her, softness in my voice as I watch her lips quiver in a threatening scowl. "There's always going to be us.. Alcina, Salvatore, Ethan, all of them, they need us. You and I know each other well enough to know that we can't live with running."
-"...No."
-"Come on. We'll win this."
-"Or die trying."
-"That's the spirit." I laugh, causing her to smile just a little before I turn around and take her hand in mine, continuing on to the battlefield.
