Someone's in trouble, follow me", I said getting up and sprinting for the door

After going outside, I stopped and sniffed the air- rogues. Jamie must have smelled it too, because the twins and Jane appeared out of nowhere.

"Jane, I want you to take Willow back in the house", Jamie said and I looked at him "don't be stubborn now, go with Jane"

HELP US! The voice screamed and I jumped again

"This involves me too, I can hear them!", I yelled running off into the woods, the twins and Jamie chased after me. I followed the terrible scent to a vacant space in the woods. There were at least six of them surrounding a small white cub. The cub hid itself in between two wolves that laid there lifeless. Six walking in a circle snarling and growling at the cub.

"HEY!!!", I screamed and my voice echoed

"Willow!", Jamie growled as he stood beside me. The six rogues looked at us and the cub looked straight me

Help me please! Her small voice whined in my head

So you're the one that's been in my head, don't worry I'll get you out of here, I replied glaring at the rogues that were coming towards us. I looked at Jamie, who was already staring back me

"I have to save that cub", I whispered and he nodded. Just when I was about to shift, growls came from behind me. I turned to see twins and a couple of other wolves.

"Leave the cub!", I growled and the rogues stopped looking at my pack. They sprinted away and our wolves chased after them. Without hesitation I ran towards the cub that was literally shaking with fear. I stopped in my tracks, seeing the color of the fur of the two lifeless wolves. I took a deep breath and when I exhaled my breath trembled. Their fur was white, both of them. White as my fur, which only meant.... They were spirit wolves as well. I can feel my tears running my face as I went to the small cub. I reached to pick her up and she jumped then looked at me. Her eyes as blue as the ocean, she was terrified. She crawled into my arms and I held her to my chest. She shook furiously, keeping her head in my chest. I can feel my heart breaking- literally.

"I'll keep you safe love", I whispered to the small cub

"Willow", Jamie said placing a hand on my back and I looked at him "let's go, it's not safe". I nodded and followed back to the house, but looked back at the white wolves- they disappeared. When a white wolf dies he/she spirit leaves the body and the body evaporates.

When we got back to the house, Jane was cleaning the kitchen up. I walked in first with Jamie coming in behind me

"Thank goodness, you're okay", she exclaimed then looked at the white cub on my arms "who's this?"

"Um Willow, why don't take her upstairs", Jamie told me and I nodded. I went upstairs to my room and placed the cub on my bed. She was still shaking, but not crazy as before. I placed my thermal cover over her and pet her head.

"Can you change back? I would like to know your name", I whispered with a small smile "my name is Willow, you can trust me"

I know, she mindlinked me and crawled under the cover. I watched as she shifted back and peeked at me. I met her green eyes and he dirty blond hair laying everywhere.
