When Sportacus arrives at Robbie's lair, the spell of spaghetti fills his nostrils. It smells amazing to him, and he announces it. "That smells amazing!"
Robbie flips his hair jokingly, "I know, I made it!" Rottenella grins, "And I helped!" The villain pats his daughter on her head, "Yes, you did. You were a great helper." Rottenella chirps, "Yeah. I'm your 'Number One' helper!"
Robbie is now trying not to laugh, "Yes. You are number one." Sportacus smiles at the two, chuckling softly, "She's so much like you. It's hard not to laugh... and it's kind of cute."
The other man blushes as he sets the plates of spaghetti down, "Just eat."
Sportacus thanks Robbie before they all sit down, their smiles slowly fading.
A few minutes pass, "So..." Rottenella begins. "Who is the cutie in yellow? Or the cute red head?"
Robbie nearly spits out his drink, "Nope. I don't want to hear about this Stinky and then that weird techy kid. They're both a massive no."
Rottenella pouts slightly, "But didn't you tell me if I wanted something that I should just go for it? And why are these kids an immediate no? I mean, you always helped me in Mayhem Town when I wanted someone." Her father scoffs, "Because that's not in my town."
Sportacus cannot stop laughing by this point, and Rottenella shakes her head. "Come on, just give me some information on them?" Robbie states, "No."
Rottenella quickly mutters, 'What about Pinky?" Before Robbie could even say no, Sportacus spits out, "No!" Robbie looks surprised. Sportacus scratches the back of his neck, "She's, uh, she's interested in Trixie." The villain eyes the hero suspiciously.
Rottenella shrugs, "Yeah, I don't want to be a home wrecker." After dinner they all go to their respective rooms. Sportacus, of course, goes into Robbie's room.
Robbie turns to face the man, "Sportacus, is there something that I need to know?" The hero is unable to lie, and he quickly mutters, "I want to adopt Stephanie."
The man's eyes widen, "What?" He never expected to hear those words come out of Sport's mouth.
"Yeah, well. She was jealous that Rottenella has a good dad like you... I asked her what she meant by that, and well... she told me she didn't have good parents, and that she was from Play Town. Without thinking I said I would adopt her." He sits down on the edge of Robbie's bed. "Sorry, I know that I should have asked you first."
Robbie nods, "It's fine. I get it. No one should have to live in that hell hole. But man, I didn't tell you that I had a child for awhile. I don't think I really should be judging you on this."
Sportacus looked away for a moment, "But I'm still sor-" Before the hero can finish his sentence, Robbie gives him a quick kiss on the lips. "Shut up, Sportadork. I said that it's okay."
Now bright red, Sportacus is told to go to bed. The villain grabs clothing from his closet and tosses an extra pair of pajamas to his partner.
Sportacus stares at the pair of pants before coming back to reality. Robbie begins taking off his own shirt, and the hero begins to stare. "This isn't a free show," the man jokes, pretending to turn away. "Now change. You're not sleeping in whatever you're wearing." Sportacus informs the man that it is his uniform, and Robbie snickers jokingly.
Sportacus changes into the pair of pajama pants and decides to not wear a shirt to sleep. After all, Robbie was right. The uniform was not comfortable to sleep in.
Robbie turns around and cannot help but stare at his boyfriend, "Where is your shirt?" He sounds fake-horrified. Sportacus didn't catch on to the ongoing joke and begins to explain, "I thought that I wouldn't wear one. I'm just sleeping, and you're right. It's more comfy this way." Robbie smiles at the man, but Sportacus continues, "Come on, you cannot possibly be flustered by this! I already know that you have a very... interesting history with people."
Robbie covers his face with his hands for a brief moment, "Well, this is different. You're not a hook up, or a one night stand - whatever you want to call it. You're my boyfriend, and I lo-" The villain quickly stops himself before he ends up saying words that he's been avoiding. "Never mind, let's just go to bed."
Sportacus winked, "Wow, I didn't know that you wanted me in bed that bad." With that, he wraps his arms around the taller man.
