Danny Phantom and The Lightning Thief

A New Mission

If Danny didn't feel like an outcast before, he definitely felt like one now, everyone had given him a wide birth when they found out he was the son of a goddess who swore to be a maiden forever, he would get strange looks everywhere he went and the kids would point at him  whispering to each other, but the most annoying part was that the nature spirits wouldn't leave him alone, they would follow him everywhere he went, even to the bathroom until he told them to leave him alone, he even caught Grover giving him weird looks most of the time at dinner

Cabin 11 was to nervous to train with him though, after they heard what he and Percy did to the Ares campers in the woods, so his lessons with Luke became one on one, he pushed him harder than ever and wasn't afraid to bruise him up in the process

"your going to need all the training you can get" Luke promised as they were working with swords and flaming torches "now lets try that viper-beheading strike again, fifty more repetitions"

Annabeth still taught him Greek in the mornings, but she seemed distracted, every time he said something, she would scowl at him, as if he just poked her between the eyes

After lessons, she would walk away muttering to herself "quest?........Poseidon?........dirty rotten.....got to make a plan"

Even Clarisse kept her distance, though her venomous looks made it clear she wanted to kill him for breaking her magic spear

But on the bright side, Danny liked having his own cabin, he didn't have to share with anybody, he had plenty of room for all his stuff, which was a set of spare clothes and a toiletry bag, he got to sit at his own dinner table, pick all of his own activities, call lights out when he felt like it and not listen to anybody else, but he was still required to take combat class with Diana, just like everybody else, just because he was the son of Artemis didn't mean he would get special treatment

And Danny had to admit, he liked taking combat class with Diana, she was a great teacher, and an experience fighter, she had a taught him how to control his divine strength, after he had mastered the extreme gravity in the arena, he had learned how to summon his aura on command, and had learned how to make balls of energy which he learned could do some serious damage to a monster whenever it hit them, he also learned how to use his energy to increase his strength, his speed, his reflexes, but the coolest thing was that he learned how to fly, he had lost control and fell face first on the ground a couple of times, but after a few days he had gotten the hang of it, and was flying like it was natural to him 

Danny was sitting against the wall of the arena painting and sweating like crazy, he had just gotten done sparing with Percy for 3 hours and exhausted thanks to the nonstop fighting in the 10 times gravity, he looked up when saw Percy coming towards him with two bottles of water, he sat next to him and gave him one

"thanks" said Danny opening the bottle and drinking half before poring the rest on his hair, he looked over at Percy who had done the same, but he had looked like he had more energy than before 'yeah, he's the son of Poseidon alright'

"so, how does it feel being the son of the sea god?"

Percy looked at him before looking down "to be honest, i feel absolutely miserable, i feel more like an outcast then i did before"

"hey at least you don't have people giving you weird looks" said Danny

"at least you don't have people trying to stay away from you" said Percy

"well at least you don't have satyrs and nymphs following you around" said Danny

They scowled at each other before bursting into laughter

"don't worry i'm sure everything'll make sense, you'll figure out why your dad choose now to claim you" said Danny "you just have to be patient"

Percy smiled "thanks man, i really needed that, but really how is it possible for Artemis to you know, have kids, didn't the myths say that she was supposed to be a virgin?"
