"Good morning." Yang JeongIn greeted as he got into the car, "iced americano and cheese croissant." AiXun smiled, nodding to him as he drove away from the location. "I saw the news yesterday. Should you really be out here in daylight?"

"I'm not a vampire."

"You know what I mean."

AiXun hummed, sipping his cup of coffee, "we'll see how it goes in a couple of days and then I'll decide if I should be out in daylight or not."

"It can be dangerous."

"Says the one." AiXun scoffed.

JeongIn sighed.

"It's my fault for getting you involve in this and I'm sorry." AiXun said.

"It's not your fault. I chose to stay with you." Jeongin assured, silently intertwining his hand with the younger, "I just, I made my decision. Today will be the last day in school and I'll continue homeschooling."

"What?"

"You heard me. I'm only going to school to bid goodbyes to my classmate and teachers. Then, I'll opt for homeschooling."

That cause AiXun to jam brake, "are you hearing to what you're saying right now? You don't have to do this for me."

"I'm not doing this only for you. I'm doing this for myself to. I'll move in with you." Jeongin said.

"I.N," AiXun breathed, "I'm sorry for everything."

"Stop apologizing." Jeongin said, "I told you, even in death, I'll choose you. Now, hurry up and drive me to school."

Kim AiXun: Hyung

Lee Know: Hey, what's up?

Kim AiXun: I.N is moving in to the base.

Lee Know: I know

Kim AiXun: He also decided to opt homeschooling

Lee Know: I know. He told me and Bang Chan three days ago.

Kim AiXun: I feel guilty for taking his life away.

Lee Know: Ai, you know you shouldn't. We agreed on this together isn't it? We'll have each others back.

Kim AiXun: I feels as if I stole his life away.

Lee Know: Sweetie, we talked about it before and I.N is old enough to make his own decision.

Kim AiXun: It still doesn't feel right. It's not only his life did I take away. I took away yours, Seungmin's, Jisung's, Bang Chan's, Hyunjin's. Have you ever wondered whose life I'll be taking next?

Lee Know: Ai, you know you didn't take any of our lives away.

Kim AiXun: The guilt doesn't go away.

"Hey, sorry to keep you waiting. I'm done now." JeongIn chimed as if he got into the car.

"It's fine." AiXun muttered as he starts the engine.

"Ai, don't shoulder everything on yourself. I told you that I chose to stay with you instead." Jeongin assured. He gave the younger a gentle smile, intertwining their hand together. "Lee Know Hyung texted me. We're having a movie night at the base today. Wanna get some snacks?"

"Yeah, sure." AiXun smiled. Jeongin squeezed his hand and leaned towards the younger, planting a kiss to his cheek.

"We're homed." I.N chimed as the two entered the penthouse.

"Welcome home!" SeungMin answered, poking his head out from the kitchen, "We're getting lunch started. Wanna help us?"

"Sure!" I.N smiled, he looked back at the youngest, "Ai?"

"I'll be in my room." AiXun answered, passing the groceries bag to the older.

"Okay, I'll get you for lunch."

AiXun nodded before climbing up the stairs towards his room. From the second floor, he could see Jisung and Changbin playing the PS5 in front of the television whilst Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N were getting busy in the kitchen.

"You're finally back. I've waited for hours now."

It was not new for AiXun to get into his room only to see either one of his friends inside it, making themself at home. It was either lying in his bed or simply just sitting on the chair that he placed on the balcony. This time, it was Hwang Hyunjin that sat on his bed with his photo album.

"I have something to tell you."

Aixun hummed in response as he undressed his outerwear, tossing it into the laundry basket. He then walked over to the balcony, lighting up a cigarette, inhaling the toxic substance.

"It's about Lee Yongbok." Hyunjin said.

Aixun was seen tensing over the name, unconsciously clenching his fist in some sort of a disturb emotion.

"He's alive but," The pause Hyunjin had made only seem to trigger his emotions more.

"but what?" AiXun urged.

"Your family has him."

"What?"

"Yesterday, an insider told us that YongBok was adopted by your family. He took your place in the family."

"What the hell," AiXun mumbled, a sinister chuckle leaving his lips. "Hyung, get out."

"Ai, I know you're upset but,"

"Please, get out." AiXun turned to look at him. Hyunjin flinched at the sight of the younger. He looks deadly. His eyes showed no emotions yet, a sad smile depicted on his lips. Hyunjin got up of the bed, taking a conscious step towards him.

"AiXun, listen to me. It's okay to feel sad."

"Hyung, get out." AiXun repeated, "I'm telling you nicely. Don't make me drag your body out."

"Ai, calm down. It's okay."

AiXun chuckled, "please, get out. I don't want you hurt."

"You're not going to hurt me. I know you won't." Hyunjin affirmed.

"Just, get out."

"AIXUN!"
