Eventually exiting the vents, the small male follows the blonde, Mr.Aizawa coming into the bathroom wasn't planned out so he had to lay low. The mystery man tried to keep to higher ground instead of staying behind the blonde, to get a better view. Seeing Bakugo stop by an alleyway, the small male jumps down from the roof tops, landing as quietly as possible behind a garbage can. Once he knew the cost was clear he peaked around the corner seeing Bakugo with his head to the ground "Kacchan!" He yells out before quickly ducking into the sewage drain.
Hearing the voice call out again, he refuses to pay attention to it. Clenching his jaw and his fists, he tries not to think of the mouth that gave him that dreaded name. The name that would play in his head constantly. To keep himself from stressing, he kept telling himself its not real, its not real. For the most part it was helping him keep calm. Once he made it back home, his mother was in a rush. She was tearing up the house trying to find something she had lost. "Katsuki have you seen my sisters new wallet I got her for her birthday? She'll be here in twenty minutes to pick up her gift and I can't find it anywhere!" Mitsuki panics, throwing a bunch of random stuff out of the hallway closet. "I don't keep up with your crap. The old man probably accidentally tossed it in with the garbage again like he did my bus card." Bakugo says taking off his uniform jacket, leaving him in his black skull shirt. "No he just told you that because he was convinced you'd try and run away last Saturday when you two got into that argument over who's cooking is better." Mitsuki says as she then rushes over to the side tables, searching through them for the gift. "Are you serious?! That card gives me free bus rides! He owes me money for all that I've spent this week!" Bakugo yells pissed off that his parents lied to him. "Damnit! I don't have time for this! I'll message her and have her meet us at the little shop down the road. I can quickly find her a replacement gift there!" Mitsuki says completely out of breath as she goes to get her keys from the kitchen counter. "Go head and get in the car I'll be out in a sec." she orders. "Why do I have to go with you?!" Bakugo yells, right after he had just kicked his shoes off.
"Shes your aunt! You're going to wish her happy birthday! Now lets go!" Mitsuki rushes them out to the car and speeds off downtown. It was only a five minute drive so it didn't take then too long. The shop she was heading towards was Sarah's Accessories. They had lots of different costly name brand stuff there that women just adore. Also a place Bakugo refused to ever enter. "Katsuki hurry up son!! My god!" Mitsuki complains because of her son walking so slow. "Go without me! I'm not going to risk being spotted in there!" Bakugo leans against the building with his hands in his pocket, refusing to go in. "Fine! Stay put I'll be right back." Mitsuki yanks the door open then rushes inside, leaving Bakugo by himself
The mystery man had been following them the whole way to Sarah's Accessories, seeing the blonde standing alone he decided that now was the perfect time to try and initiate his plan. Jumping down from the top of the building he was standing on, leaning against the corner of it as he takes his mask and hoodie off, revealing his fluffy green hair, waiting for Bakugos eyes to land on his
Staring down at his phone with his back leaned against the brick wall, he grows bored then places his phone back in his pocket. His mom was taking forever and his aunt hadn't shown up yet. Leaning his head back against the wall, his eyes start to trail off, looking around at all of his surroundings. Then, he spotted a familiar head of messy green hair.
The green haired male, smiled brightly, trying to get the blonde to follow. Making it seem like Bakugo was hallucinating him being there, he raises his arm and waves, seeing the look on the blondes face made him chuckle slightly. A bus then passes by and the small male has once again hidden himself down the alley way.
Bakugo stood there, eyes as wide as dinner plates and his mouth slightly hanging open as he tried to figure out if what he was seeing was real or not. "D-Deku?" He whispers under his breath. Once the bus passes by and he disappears again, it was like his feet just started moving on their own. Running in the direction from where he saw the nerd standing, he kept questioning his head. 'Was that him? No, thats crazy. He's head you idiot DEAD!' Once he got to the spot where he had seen the green haired boy waving at him, he looks around to see if he could spot him again.
Peaking back around a corner, the green haired male speaks "Kacchan" he says softly trying to sound how he did a couple years ago. The small male stands in the center of the alley staring dead at the blonde who looked like he had seen a ghost. Knowing he had the blonde right where he wanted him he begins to run away to get him further from Sarah's Accessories, wanting them to be completely alone.
Bakugo continues to follow the boy, making turn after turn. When they finally came to a stop, once again he searched around. Not knowing where Deku had went.. Deku sits on a ledge of window sill watching as the blonde frantically searches for him, he had his hood and his mask back on, "You know you look a little lost down there" he yells down, seeing the blonde look up at him with a frantic look on his face "You're not gonna find him, he's gone" he begins to jump from window sill to window sill "He's been gone for a while now, I'd say 3 years?" He asks rhetorically "You must be so..." he lands right behind the blonde "Miserable"
Bakugo spins around, still out of breath from all the running. Nothing more than the look of shock on his face. "D-Deku, h-how? How did-" The trembling blonde was so shocked he could hardly form his words.
"What cat got your tongue? Have you seen a ghost?" He then looks down at himself "Well I guess you kind of have" he laughs, pulling his hood down once more and taking off his mask "How did I survive? Beats the hell out of me, I was gone alright, soon as I hit the concrete" he says the last part through gritted teeth "I for sure thought it was over, but next thing I knew I was waking up on hospital bed with these gadgets all hooked up to me" he clenches his fists in his hands "I entered a new life, a new sense of clarity" he begins to circle Bakugo "The old Deku is gone, this is the new me" his eyes glow green, revealing a scar etched across his nose in the shady alley "You like? Or do you still want me to take a swan dive?" He asks coldly, his hand in his pocket with his hand around a syringe that had something in it to knock the blonde out cold.
Hearing what was coming out of the boys mouth was overwhelming him. He's felt guilty for so long, but now, he was beyond pissed. He didn't like that Deku was pacing around him so he stepped back, getting closer to the wall so he couldn't get behind him. "You've been alive this entire fucking time?! Where the hell have you been all this time?! Do you have any idea how worried people have been for you?!" Bakugo starts to yell.
Deku laughs "God I forgot how much anger you had in you" he smiles wickedly "You wanna know where I've been?.."he looks down at the ground, cracking his neck "How about I show you?" Deku lunges quickly at the blonde and inserts the syringe into the nape of Bakugos neck "See you in a few hours Kacchan" he whispers as he feels the blondes body begin to go limp.
