How The Mighty Fall

Chapter 6

After a long silence, Deku looked at the blonde in disbelief "You-you don't know?" Memories kept flashing through his head, one's that he kept locked in his mind since he became part of the league, plus after being revived he had some memory loss, but one specific memory kept coming to mind "You cared at one point, did our friendship mean nothing to you?" Deku looked at the bracelet again and took it off dangling it in front of Bakugo "Take it" he didn't look the blonde in the eye "I don't deserve it, nor have I ever deserved it, I was stupid for believing you cared" he stood their with it in his hand, his body shaking from trying to keep his emotions together, he never wanted to let what they had go but he saw now that he never had Bakugo in the first place.

Bakugo continued sitting there. He didn't fully care that Deku threw the bracelet away. Right now he was numb and just wanted to go home. "Im sorry Deku." He says under his breath.

"What?" Deku says, his voice shaking, the words he had been dying to hear for years were finally said but before he could say anything the door unlocks and Shigaraki walks in "Zack is coming in, we need more information out of the little brat" he snaps, scratching his neck. Deku couldn't form words but his jaw hit the floor when he saw this tall, muscular man with long black hair walking into the room "Don't go easy on him" Shigaraki says before leaving the room, but not before giving a wicked smile to the green haired male. Zack walks up to the broken male down on the floor and lifts him like it's nothing "Time for talking is over pretty boy, I'm gonna have some fun with you till you start squealing" the large man throws the blonde across the room making him slide down the wall and landing on his behind, letting out a yelp of pain. Deku watched as Zack pummeled the blonde almost to a pulp, a part of Deku was enjoying it but until he realized that Bakugo wasn't fighting back it hit him, Bakugo has given up.

A feeling Deku hadn't felt in awhile ran through his body, and before he knew it his feet were moving on their own, it was like the sludge villain attack all over again. "KACCHAN!!" He yells, catching Zacks attention, Dekus focus was mainly on the blonde not realizing the massive hand rearing back and smacking Dekus chest making him fly back into the opposite wall.

Bakugo laid on the floor, still in nothing but a t-shirt from when Deku undressed him. He had his arms covering his head to try and protect himself from Zacks blows. He had given up. Deep down he knew he deserved this. He didn't see a point in fighting back. He just didn't have it in him. Not anymore. Once he heard Deku scream his name, he peeked through his arms to see the nerd as he got thrown into the wall

Deku coughed hard, the air barely getting back to his lungs "Zack! S-Stop!" He yells, the large male growling as he punches the blonde again, "Can't do that Deku, boss said to get info out of him but I haven't had a play toy in a while" he laughs, Zack wasn't the brightest of the league, he was more for brute strength and torture studies more than anything. Deku had a look of determination on his face, activating one for all he stands on his feet "Then I'm sorry to do this" Deku begins charging Zack as his back is turned, powering up to 15% "I SAID LET HIM GO!!" He punches Zack on top of his head, knocking him to the ground, making him hold his head in pain but also dropping the blonde. Deku catches the male before he hit the ground laying him down carefully "I'm so sorry Kacchan, can you hear me?" The look that he used to have for the blonde had returned, a trail of concern in his voice as he looks down at the beaten boy.

Bakugo goes back to the fetal position as Deku sets him on the ground. He was too traumatized to move or talk so he just nodded his head at Deku's question. Thankfully none of the league had noticed what was going on. Zack was knocked out cold from Deku's blast to his head.

"Okay good" Deku scans the room real quick and finds Bakugos pants laying on the ground, getting up he goes and grabs them and brings them back to the scared male "Here, put these back on" he cautiously lays the pants next to Bakugo. Looking at the shape of the blonde Deku felt horrible, knowing that he caused this. "I'm gonna grab a first aid kit, I'm gonna help okay" Deku quickly searches the room looking for a first aid kit anywhere. Finally looking through a drawer he finds some gauze, hydrogen peroxide, and rags bringing them over to Bakugo. "I'm gonna clean up your face first, can you let me do that?" You can see written all over Dekus face that it pained him to see Bakugo like this.
