DRUNK IN LOVE

CHAPTER FIVE

Philip and Thomas was set to go to the mountain of salt.
He made a portal that will lead them through to see prophet Joa.
As they stepped into the portal they vanished.
Transporting through many realms before getting to mountain of salt. Getting there every where was dark. Thomas making a step arrows began to fly towards them from different angles. Philip holding him saying"watch out its a trap".
Philip conjured light and they saw the bobby traps.
Philip transformed to feather floating on the air till he got where he dismantled the trap.
They came in to an open space and they were caught on a huge ball of cobwebs.
Philip did all he could to free them but to no avail.
And the spider which is a giant one that feds on human intestines was coming for them.
"Do something now Philip I don't want to die"Thomas said to him.
"I am trying but my powers are not working here" said Philip..
"OK, OK, what do we do now?".
"Let's hope for a miracle".
Hazel appeared from his hiding place using his sword of fire to free them.
The spider now angry began to fight them with fury.
Hazel flew up driving his sword right through its head and it died.
The coast was clear.
Thomas asked "how did you know about our journey?".
"That I am a fallen doesn't take away the fact I was once an angel and my angelic features are intact... I hear, see and know things" Hazel said.
He turned with speed holding the air as he dragged him out of hiding it was Pete.
"So you came with him?"Thomas asked him.
"No I didn't we met inside the portal, it happened that I cloaked myself not to be seen, if I had acted when I saw him I would have given my presence out". they were all standing, when the ground opened as they went down at once sliding down the tunnel till they came into a place like hall.
There they saw a thrown with a skeleton sitting on it.
"You are here for answers" the skeleton said..."but there must be a prize to pay for those answers".
"Name the prize and it shall be granted"said Philip.
"Oh you are faster than your shadow, and stop getting into my mind to seek what you came for.
For I am like a hallow pit without end".."once I shut you in you keep falling never to land so be warned didn't Jeremiah teach you that witness" said prophet Joa to Philip.
  "Your father is Hoza is the elder brother to Hazel".... Now laughing "I wonder what you two brothers see in humans that you can give it all just to please and be with them".
"Your mother is Abigail... The warrior princess...they are in captivity in the underworld and here are things that can grant you passage to the underworld".
"The head of Medusa and the tears of a manmerid... the eye of the three sister witches of the island of death....and a blood sacrifice is the key".
"War is at the corner the revolution has started"....the skeleton stopped talking.
"Thank you so much"Philip said...
As they were about to leave..."not so fast"his voice echoed through out the hall..."my prize"..
"and it would be what?"asked Hazel.
"I want...." I want Thomas as a prize and you know your words were signed and sealed when you agreed to giving me whatever I want"and this hall was were the meeting of all the supernatural who came together to agree with our father big daddy up in the skies to create mankind"...."so give me what we bargained for"Joa said to them laughing mysteriously as it echoed loud round about the hall.
The objects there began to come alive... The status there came alive moving close to them.
Different weapons were floating on the air set to be lunched at them.
The skeleton stood up spreading his hands sideways and he was covered with flesh and a golden cloth designed with white and diamonds....His hair was long and white.
He matched down the stairs as hundreds of soldiers appeared by his side.
He whipped his hair forward  and it grabbed Thomas he fell, he dragged him under his feet.
Touching his long white beards.."you can all go and save the world, I have what I have been looking for years now"....
"Go now before I change my mind".... Hazel saw the pains in Thomas's eyes and the regrets on Philips face.
"Joa let's end this once and for all, I know you never wanted him it's me you want.... you have me now..."you want to revenge for what I did to you years ago, go ahead and leave them out of this".
"The fight is between us so"....he  Walked to him.
He sent Thomas back to where he was standing before.
Hazel knelt down facing the rest as Joa raised his sword saying"blood for blood wings for wings so that what was written in the holybook may come to pass"...Cutting off Hazel's wing as he screamed and flashes of light and thunder was released.
The arch angels felt it and flew towards there as fast as they could.
But Philip was fast to open the portal speedily taking Hazel from where he was lying in pains pushing all of them into the portal and vanished. Joa noticing the presence of the arch angels he vanished while the place collapsed. At Thomas's lodge.
Hazel was lying on his stomach... Thomas was short of words he just held him close.
Philip was bringing physical first aid but Pete laughed saying "you are not gonna use that on him have you forgotten his is an angel, relax he will self heal".
"Wait a minute this bad, like very, very bad...Joa did him dirty, that sword he used contains my venom when I was a serpent in the garden of Eden".
Thomas was sad because it was because of him all these things happened...."only the four rivers that flows in the garden of eden can cure him"said Pete.
Thomas looking at Pete saying"how am I sure you are not behind all these things?, once a serpent always one"... "you want the two men that loves me out of the way so you can take their place".
"What do I do now to make all of you trust me, I am on my redemption journey for the pain I caused man kind".
At this Philip brought a contract asking him to sign with his blood that on no account he will ever betray them".... Pete did it.
"Now let's go to the garden of Eden and fetch those water".
He created a portal and he left with Pete.
They entered a portal transport system that makes the passengers to face each other as it rolls from realm to realm.... Pete was facing Philip who was not even looking at him.
He was trying to make him smile.
He will change his tounge to that of a serpent.
There was a sudden pot hole which the portal rolled into...They collieded and their mouth met.
Back at the lodge Thomas was restless so he stood up and brought the first aid box taking the spirit there pouring it into Hazel's wound which made black substance to gush out of it.
He kept pouring till he ran out of spirit.
Then he took the sulphur and sea salt to rub on the wound. "Haz bite on my hand its going to hurt like mad".
"At my count you bite me" Thomas nudged.
The arch angels came,the door was removed as thunder clapped they were hanging on the air ready to attack them.
