Nearby the mountain valley where Vince previously imprisoned...

A man was standing in rubbles on a mountain that seemed to be flattened. His body was full of blood and his eyes were radiating with undisguised killing intent.

Behind the man were dozens of corpses. Some were minced and some were charred black. Their corpses were beyond recognition.

In front of the man was a brawny middle aged man who stared at the former with fury and despair. His clothes were bloody and tattered while his whole figure was exhausted, clearly he was at the end of line after ardous battle with the young man in front of him.

"Bas...tard! How could you.. be so powe.."

The middle aged man exhaled his last breath before falling down, dead.

"Hmph!"

The man only snorted as he ignored the middle aged man's words and with a wave of his hand. All the blood and dust disappeared in his body, returning to his original clean state.

If Vince was present, he would recognized this man. This man gave him a white thread connecting to his body.

The man stared at the dark skies and muttered, "The young master has been missing. I need to report it to the Divine Empire."

A sigh escaped the man's mouth as he flew into a certain direction.

...

Old Gin arrived in a misty forest in the far east of the continent. He traveled a few City teleportation portals and a speedy travel, arriving at his target location.

Old Gin paused for a second and he entered the misty forest.

Lukas didn't follow the travel as he was a disciple of an Elder. Old Gin sent him into another teleportation portal with his subordinates as an escort along the way.

Old Gin narrowed his eyes as he glanced back. He already sensed a few figures who seemed to be spies following behind.

However, he didn't panicked. He snorted before he sped up his movements carrying Vince inside the Dark Sphere.

Although he can easily dispose those spies, it will only give him a drag. Their back-ups might arrive at any time, so he needed to focus on the journey.

After all, those spies couldn't point out where he was heading.

Old Gin smirked before he increased his movement. The sooner he can send this package to the other side, the sooner he gets the bargained treasure.

Meanwhile, Vince witnessed everthing in his surroundings.

'Interesting. A few thousand miles of maze-like formation. This mist can block ones senses and will be trapped once entered. Even the fogs contains poison, silently and slowly killing the trespassers.'

'Even those spies following behind paused their tracks. I can tell they were afraid of this foggy forest.'

Vince saw inumerable dried corpses of various races along the way. Some were alive but already on the brink of death, clearly resisting the posion for who knows how many years have past.

'Still, this world is quite interesting.'

Vince' eyes were radiating with curiosity.

A few minutes past and Old Gin paused his movements on a cliff.

There was a pitch dark bottomless abyss below the cliff. Any types of Profound sense cannot pry what's at the bottom just like the misty forest.

The cliff was at the heart of misty forest. Anyone who experienced the hell of this place knew the terror brought by this abyss.
