A few minutes past as both Margarette and Vince sat crossed legged facing each other.

Margarette stared at Vince with her cold and angry face while a tint of redness covered her cheeks. She just stared the latter while glancing at their locking fingers from time to time. She could feel his warm hand that makes her thoughts all jumbled.

"Why are you staring at me like that? Get it done already. What shall I do to start?" She spat angrily to cover her embarrassment. She glared at Vince wanting to strangle him to death.

She was silently waiting but the man in front of her never said any instructions and anything. He just stared at her while smiling, making her felt flustered even more.

"Alright. Try to relax your mind. Your body is shivering..." Vince wanted to tease her more, but seeing her death glare, he immediately shut his mouth.

He then fetched a fist-sized Enlightenment Fruit from his system storage and passed it to her.

"What kind of fruit is this? It's so fragrant." Margarette received a fruit that looked like an apple but with rainbow in colour. Judging this, she knew the fruit was a top tier treasure. She wasn't even paying attention where Vince got the fruit or how it magically appeared on his hand.

Smelling the fruit, her mind relaxed by a notch. Even her thoughts were cleared just like that.

"We can start after you consume that fruit." Vince said.

The Enlightenment fruit can help her enter into enlightened state and won't be bothered from the outside distractions.

Margarette nodded as she waved her hand, creating a bubble of profound barrier that fitted the room before eating the fruit.

"You only need to do is to run your cultivation technique and try to break the barrier between Immortal Realm to reach Tribulation Realm." Vince explained while watching her eat the fruit.

This time, she removed her veil making him admire her beauty even more.

Margarette acknowledged his instructions for a second before she resumed her meal. She wasn't bothered by his admiring stare as she was having the time of her life relishing the fruit in her hand. It was her first time eating such an appetizing fruit.

Crack!

Not long after Margarette devoured the Enlightenment Fruit, she directly went into a deep meditation. Her body produced almost an invisible mist that made her surroundings turned into ice with the exception of Vince who observed her state in silence.

Soon, Vince examined her using his unusual vision. Her could see her Elemental Affinity Roots were filled with ice elements constantly. Her ice affinity roots looked perfectly complete, but he could still see countless blockages from those tiny passages that hindered her progress in cultivation.

With the help of her Cultivation technique to stimutale her Ice elemental energy and Profound energy, Margarette began to reach her breakthrough to the Tribulation Realm.

However, it wasn't that easy. Even if she have consumed an Enlightened Fruit to maintain her focus, her elemental physique barely met the criteria for her to make a breakthrough.

Margarette knew this herself.

Elemental Physique have categories on their own.

The lowest is the Mortal Elemental Physique which has a limited growth up to Origin Profound Realm at best.

Next is the Earth Elemental Physique which has a limited growth up to Emperor Profound Realm at best.

Margarette's Physique this time is in the Heavenly Elemental Physique. Her power growth can only be limited at the peak of Immortal Realm. However, she wasn't reconciled with it. She wanted to break her limits on her own.

But alas, after so many years, her efforts were resulted into failure many times that she already accepted the reality that she can only be stuck in her current Realm forever.

If someone mediocre knew her inner thoughts, they would really died from envy and injustice.

One has to know that a powerhouse of Immortal Realm is enough to have a prestigious position in an Empire. Their might is feared by billions of practitioners.

Vince felt her frustration and determination as he smiled.

Margarette's will to become stronger is unprecedented. It is unknown to what purpose her perseverance is. Be it for true immortality, to protect her friends and loved ones or maybe something else.

With a thought, Vince did something to her Elemental Affinity Roots. More accurately, he upgraded her Elemental Roots from Heavenly Elemental Physique into another terrifying level.

Soon, Margarette felt the changes of her body. She became doubtful of what she discovered.

It was as if her body became hungry and wanted to devour everything in the surroundings with no signs of stopping.

She never felt so empty of power before. She was like a sponge, seeking for water to quell her thirst.

Outside the ice palace where the NightShade Sect disciples scattered around to cultivate suddenly jolted awake from their meditation.

"What is happening? I can feel someone is breaking through to another Realm."

One of the disciples muttered as they glanced at the sky where a pillar of light is emmited.

"It came from the ice palace!"

"What? That area is off limits for us normal disciples."

"Could it be a sect elder is having a breakthrough?"

"Possible, judging by how powerful that light emmited. It should be an elder."

"But something's different about this light." One of the disciples pointed at the pillar of light as she continued, "Do you think that pillar of light is a bit....big?"

"..."

Everyone changed their expression when they also realized that something was amiss.

"That's right. What's going on? The pillar of light must be huge if it is in front of us."

"How is it possible that this light is the size of the huge ice palace itself? Maybe even bigger than that."

"Surely not? A pillar of light usually have a span of a person's arm right?"

Everyone was startled as their faces were full of surprises. Without further hesitation, they began to fly towards the pillar of light at full speed. Wanting to witness who made a stunning breakthrough.

Vince nodded in satisfaction as he clearly felt the surge of Margarette's power.

He never thought that his small action made everyone in the pocket world restless.

The smile of Vince became stiff when he sensed that Margarette wasn't planning on stopping the absorption of energies. He shook his head helplessly at how reckless her action was.

Margarette already broke through and now she is in the 1st level of Tribulation Realm. However, she became addicted on devouring energies. It was as if her body became a bottomless pit with no signs of getting full.

Vince knew that if she absorb further, then her foundation will become unstable and it may affect her battle prowess in the future.

Instead of consolidating her newly Realm, she instead absorb more energies. Maybe due to frustration or something else but Vince found it normal since Margarette thirsts for power very much all along.

When he was about to wake her up, a powerful yet gentle aura enveloped the room and a visitor suddely came in from the balcony of his room.

Vince saw another beauty entered the room. However, judging by her aura and otherworldly temperament, he guessed she was the one he has been looking for.
