Erin pulled her short dress back down and glanced over her shoulder to look at the blonde boy behind her.
He quickly zipped his pants back up.She was out of breath and smiled slightly amused as she watched him look around the small storage room nervously.
"Relax, Rafe. Nobody heard us", she muttered and turned around to sit on the small desk on which the Cameron boy fucked her on just a few moments earlier.
"You sure? The whole fucking town probably heard the way you were screaming my name", he said and pushed some hair out of his forehead.
Erin rolled her eyes. "Jesus. I didn't scream your name.", she stated. "Now get out"
Rafe raised his eyebrows. "Wanna smoke without me?"
"Yeah"

Erin met Rafe in rehab a couple months ago.
Before that, they kinda knew that the other existed, but they never really talked although they even had mutuals.Kelce for example, he wasn't exactly a mutual of Erin, more like an ex boyfriend. But he also was Rafes friend.
Yet they had never really seemed to notice each other until they suddenly ended up together in group therapy.
It was awkward, more than awkward actually. Rafe made her promise to not tell anyone about the things he talked about in that session, and Erin promised.
Its not like she cared anyways.Thats when they started hooking up occasionally. Nobody knew and they liked to keep it that way.
Erins Mother was really close with Rose Cameron, they were invited to dinner parties and shit like that every other week.
Rose told her mom everything about Rafe and his issues.
She hated Rafe and what she hated even more was to see her daughter hang out with him. Especially because she knew that he struggled with addiction just as much as Erin once did.Unlike Rafe, Erin managed to beat it, wasn't addicted to coke like him, for her it were pills.
When she almost died of and overdose of vicodin, her mom forced her to go to rehab. And it actually helped, she stayed clean of the opiods but still did some lines with Rafe every once in a while.Rehab did nothing for Rafe, he was back on the stuff not even two weeks after he got out of the clinic.
Erin didn't really care to be honest, Rafe was insufferable when he wasn't high.Towards the end of their time in rehab she didn't even feel like fucking him anymore because of the way he was acting all obnoxious and pushy, always in a bad mood and bitching around about everything.
Rafe straightened the fabric of his pale blue shirt with a few strokes before he left the tiny room. Erin waited until the door fell shut behind him before fumbling a slightly crooked joint out of her designer purse.
When Rafe returned to the dining room, it was just as he left it. He had only been gone for about fifteen minutes anyways, but Rose was still engaged in an agitated conversation with Grace, Erins Mom.
They hadn't noticed that Rafe and Erin had been missing, the two women didn't even look at him so he just sat down and leaned back, waiting for Erin to return. When she did, she sat down next to her mother. Across from Rafe but didn't even cast a glance at him, he just smiled slightly and looked at his legs.
It was funny to him how Erin pretended to ignore him, as if they didn't hook up every chance they got.Grace and Roses conversation came to an end and when the brunette sat down next to her mother, she turned to look at her.
"How are your college applications going, dear?", asked Rose and smiled at Erin widely. Erin presented her her kindest fake smile and crossed her legs. "Well", she started. "It's going great. Next week I'll be visiting the mainland to look at a few colleges over there"
Erin was a good liar, a great one.
While she left everyone in the belief that her applications we're going amazing, reality was the complete opposite.Truth was, Erin was barely getting through Highschool. She was too busy hanging out at random Kook parties or worrying about literally anything else but the finals that were coming up soon.
It's not like she had to study anything to live a comfortable life anyways. She planned on following her mothers footsteps and just seduce the first wealthy, lonely man she could find and have his babies.
That's what her future looked like either way, that's what everyone was expecting, college or not. In the end it wouldn't matter anyways."Oh, really?", Rose asked and raised her eyebrows, while looking at Rafe for a second. Erin nodded and grabbed the cup of coffee that was in front of her, sitting on a fancy porcelain saucer.
"You know what? You should bring Rafe. Maybe it would motivate him to try and get into college again."
Grace looked at her friend with slight annoyance in her eyes. She hated when Erin and Rafe spent time together and Rose knew that, but she didn't seem to care this time. The wish of having Rafe out of the house, preferably even away from outer banks, was too big.
"Um, I don't know if that is-", Grace started but was interrupted by Rafe.
"I think that's a great idea", he said, Erin rolled her eyes at him.
"See", Rose said and smiled confidently. Grace sighed and nodded, before grabbing her purse and standing up. "I have a meeting with Rob now, come on Erin. I'll drop you off at home."
After her parents got divorced her mom married an even richer estate agent called Robert Abrams.
Erin hated that son of a bitch, though he tried everything to get her sympathy. Even super expensive gifts, like a 24 karat gold plated necklace for her 16th birthday weren't enough."What do you mean its not solid gold?", she asked, looking at the dainty necklace with disgust. She held it in between her thumb and index finger and let it dangle in front of her face, the gold sparkling in the sun.
Robert didn't know what to say back then. Later, he complained to his wife about her rude daughter and Grace made Erin wear that necklace every day ever since."Sure", Erin mumbled and stood up, grabbing her purse as well. The two women left Tannehill after saying their goodbyes.
Before they got into Grace's dark red Rolls Royce, she looked at her daughter intensely. Erin was waiting for her mom to unlock the car, impatiently pulling on the door handle over and over before she noticed that she was looking at her.
"What?!", she barked and drew her eyebrows together, glancing at her mother annoyed.
"You're not seriously considering going to Chapel Hill with Rafe, are you?"
Erin shrugged. "And if I was, what about it? Can you just open the damn door already?"
"You're not supposed to associate with someone like Rafe. Do you know what they're saying about him shooting the sheriff? Something is seriously wrong with that boy."
"All I know is that some Pogues are spreading rumors again, what's new? How do you even know, Mom, you've been sleeping with that gardener again?"
Grace took a deep breath and opened her mouth to argue back, but instead she just closed it again and pressed the button on the key that unlocked the car.
The door swung open and Erin smiled innocently. "Thanks Mommy", she whistled and got into the vehicle.
