"our work is too hectic Mr jeon. The company's are taking their shares away and I'm scared we won't be able to save your job if you decided to take a leave for a month during this fragile moment." the old manager's tone was stiff but voice, soft and gentle.
Seeing the concerned frown on the blonde head's face, he somehow knew that the man in his late twenties wasn't lying at all, judging by his tensed yet tired shoulders, he knew that jeon jungkook isn't one of those men who'd lie to have some days off for fun.
"I see..i guess nothing can be done here. But thank you for listening me out, Mr choi. I'm looking forward to work harder for the company." making a last bow to the man, he quietly exited the compartment with slumped shoulders and pale face scrunched in an upset frown.
Slowly walking down the stairs, his stiff body quietly made its way to his working pod. The work's already been so much and he knew, that the manager had somehow - - indirectly told him to work harder. After all, according to the company - - it was the employees fault that the company's been falling down.
His Co-workers have already left their jobs, obviously not being happy with the excessive work they've been doing and the less amount of salary the company's been giving them. And ofcourse, jungkook has been advised of doing so too--but knowing his situation, how his lover is pregnant with their baby, and how his mother and brother are living together with them and he's the only one earning at the moment when jimin is still studying.
The decision of resigning and looking for another job seems unlikely to his situation. He can't manage to sit home for months until he finds a new job. If not his wife, or his mother--his brother would surely comeup with expenses of his studies.
And moreover, his taehyung needs to be taken care of--just a fragile piece of glass in your palm, the way you would keep it safe and in a gentle grip, his taehyung too needs to be kept as gently as possible. And he really, whole heartedly doesn't want taehyung to go through any upsetting situation at this fragile moment.
He had come to the decision of asking for a leave because he knew, he really knew that his mother isn't doing a single thing for his lover, willingly. From cooking food--to doing some of the laundry, he knows that Seokjin taunts the hell out of his taehyung and knowing how stiff his lover is--Seokjin is very much annoyed by the fact that taehyung hasn't suggested getting away from jungkook's family.
He knows, he knows it very well how ill-fully his mother treats his wife. But he also thinks that it's for a small time? Because they have never lived together, under a same roof. As soon as jungkook got married to taehyung, he had happily taken the younger boy to his new apartment in seoul.
