It's surprising. Very astonishing and extremely disappointing the way a single incident or a play of words could affect your whole relationship and bond of years with your loved one. A slight change in their tone or an immense change of behaviour for a single second could hurt you to an extent where it seems like the world's been diving in the opposite direction with them just smiling at the crack in your heart.
All those efforts, those heartfelt and extremely hard efforts they put in the relationship with you to build that perfect life for themselves and you--it all thrown inside a dustbin the moment you choose wrong words in whatever serious conversation you're having with your loved one.
Even an ounce of distrust on your face regarding your lover can bring your love life, your relationship or marriage to an end with millions of misunderstandings rising up within the small arguments that happen eventually.
A month had passed by ever since jungkook and seokjin fought with taehyung. A whole fucking month passed by in a deadly slow pace and taehyung isn't sure if he really enjoys himself in this household anymore. The whole atmosphere has changed around him. Nothing seems or feels the same as before.
Maybe it was their behaviour or the way they treated him that day..or maybe the way jungkook held him as a culprit and questioned him with such loud visibility of distrust upon him..it feels like it broke something in his fragile heart.
He doesn't feels the same giddiness around his husband. Sure he's happy to see him, see him smile his pretty bunny grin whenever they look at each other or whenever the older wraps his arms around taehyung's body, but taehyung doesn't feel the need or crave to always have the older in his arms,around himself. close to himself.
He loved him. He loves him and he's sure that he won't ever be able to fall out of love for the older, the pretty blonde man but the recent occurrence of incidents around him had made him insecure. And not so highly attentive of his surroundings.
Seokjin spends almost three to four hours with jungkook these days. And taehyung is sure that he heard himself being named as a bitch, a bastard, an ugly dog and what not and he heard no backlash or angry words slipping through his husband's mouth whenever seokjin speaks so low of himself.
It made him doubt jungkook. For the first time ever. If it was tae hearing a single fucking word against his jungkook, he would have made sure to give a earful to the human before smacking his cheek atleast once for speaking ill about someone he loves dearly, and knows them rather perfectly to hear anything against their personality.
But seeing how unfazed and untouched his husband is about the whole 'calling taehyung some ill sounding words'--taehyung is sure that jungkook is actually used to hearing these bad words slipping through his mother's lips about each and every unlikeable person he sees around.
