Next day timeskip, No POV:
The crowd climbed off of the bus, looking back over at the arena. Just as the others left, Sugawara tapped Hinata's shoulder lightly.
"Hinata, you're okay, right?" Sugawara said quietly, not breaking eye contact.
"I'm fine." He said, holding his breath. "Stop worrying about me."
"I'd completely understand if you were stressed about this, I mean, we're playing Aoba and it's okay if-"
"I'm fine." Sugawara gave him a pitying smile.
"Okay, well, if you're sure."
"I'm sure." Hinata was determined to prove the problems last time had not affected him, and that he was there as a stronger person.
The team walked into the building, to be met by an abundance of stares. Hinata could hear them whispering about the fight. He saw the Wakutani players, who were missing their captain, as he had been disqualified. Hinata looked away, not meeting their eyes, where as Sam grinned, giving them the middle finger. They clicked their camera, photographing their pissed expressions. Daichi used his hand to lower their camera.
"Stop" He whispered to Sam. "That fight wasn't a joke."
"I know, I'm just trying to make light out of it-" Sam argued.
Daichi cut them off. "You weren't the only one affected by that fight." He said firmly, looking at the faint cut Hinata had running down his face.
"Okay." Sam sighed, parting from the group, to go find Nayoku, while the boys got ready for their match.
Sam's POV:
Nayoku wasn't easy to spot, even with my amazing hand-goggles. I was standing at the top row of the stands peeking through a bunch of faceless heads.
Without warning, I felt arms snake around my shoulder as Nayoku half screamed in my ear.
"You look like a little kid. Are you sure you're a senior citizen?" She joked.
"Yes, can't you tell from my eyebrow wrinkles?"
"They're hardly noticeable I dunno what you mean!"
"I'll just go find my team again if that's how you'll be." I acted offended.
"SAM!!!" Noya screamed from down in the courts. Everyone turned to look at us.
"I'm going to kill him I swear-" I cursed as I ran back through the doors and through the stadium again. Nostalgia always hit me hard when I did this, taking me back to my dance and theatre shows back home.
"There you ar- OW!" Noya enthused as I hit him around the head, nearly knocking him to the floor.
No POV:
"Everyone is already staring at me enough without you yelling directly at me!" Sam complained.
"It's cool! You're a celebrity."
"No, I'm not. I was in one clip."
"Can I have your autograph?"
"I'm hoping that you're joking, now shut up and go and talk about volleyball or Kiyoko or whatever you do." Sam pushed him away, but he bounced back, and kept talking.
"Is she your girlfriend yet?"
"No? I don't think so?"
"And what's she doing here anyway?"
"Excuse to skip school." Sam made an annoyed sigh, and looked up at Nayoku, who just laughed. They rolled their eyes.
Just before the match began, Oikawa walked down to Karasuno's side of the pitch. The team did well to remember that he spread the news of Hinata's diabetes, leading to the consequences of the last match. He was met with an array of glares.
