I love you
I may not know you,
But I love you
And there is no wrong in my loving you
Because love has no definite value
It is not measurable
Who says I don't have love to spare?
Who says I cannot share my love with whomever and whatever I wish?
Who has the right to place limits on my love,
And don my love in bland uniforms,
And tie my love to a sinking anchor,
And imprison my love in rotting dungeons?
Surely, I have given no one rights to do such a thing
So I shall spill my love into Mother Earth
And engrave my love in the winds
And hurl my love forth into the universe
And immortalize my love in the stars
And I love you, yes, I do
I love you
I gift my love to you
