Momo looked back at her classmates who appeared to be waiting for her to make a move. Straightening her back and clenching her fists she started to make her way towards the little seating area.
“Hey mommy, look at how high Auntie Ochaco can make the pillow float!” Yukiko giggled running up to her grabbing her hand. He called her auntie, Momo thought to herself. Momo sent him a shaky smile looking at where his little finger was pointing up at the cushion floating at least six feet in the air.
“Wow, isn’t that amazing?” Momo agreed to allow Yukiko to pull her along. He grinned nodding his head letting go of her hand as he ran up to Uraraka. Fists balls and excitement in his eyes.
“Auntie! Auntie! Auntie! Can you do me next? I want to fly just like Uncle Keigo—“ Yukiko started to beg.
“Ah, no Yukiko. You can get hurt,” Momo interjected with her hands up in the air.
“But mommy, it’s Auntie Ochaco! She’s strong,” Yukiko tried to reason with a disappointed frown.
“Yukiko you know we aren’t allowed to do that,” Haru softly said standing up from his seat beside Asui walking up to Momo.
“But—“
“You’re er— your mother is right, Yukiko,” Uraraka chimed in setting down the pillow behind her, “I think it’s best we stick to pillows for now.”
“No floating, okay Yukiko?” Momo raised her eyebrow placing her hand on the child’s soft white hair.
“Yes, mommy,” Yukiko pouted leaning against Momo’s leg playing with the hem of his shirt. Uraraka and Momo smiled at each other, the latter giving her a thankful smile.“Oh,” Momo exclaimed a lightbulb going off in her head, “How about you two take a bath? I’m sure you must feel uncomfortable with all of the dirt and grim on you. What do you say?”
The twins' eyes lit up slightly, the usual bright expression on Yukiko’s face was back as he smiled, “I do feel sticky…”
“Will daddy help us bathe this time?” Haru asked making everyone stop their light chatter behind Momo and the twins.
“Er— he’s not here yet,” Momo replied standing up with her hands on her hips. She looked at her classmates realizing that if they were going to take a bath then… A blush rose in her cheeks. She quickly told the twins that she’ll be back walking to her classmates who were now spread about on the various dining tables.
She approached the boys of their class: Midoriya, Kirishima, Kaminari, Iida, and Bakugou were the closest to her, “Hey guys, can I ask a favor of you all?”
“Depends on the favor…” Bakugou muttered with a sneer, his hands locked behind his head side eying her.
“Of course, Yaoyorozu,” Iida said in a calm voice giving her a smile of reassurance, “I know this situation must be overwhelming for you as it is bizarre for us.”
“Yeah, just let us know what you want us to do!” Kirishima added with a grin.
“Well, I understand if it may be uncomfortable for you all—“ Momo started fumbling with her hands.
“We are at your disposal, Yaomomo,” Kaminari insisted, winking from where he laid his head on his folded arms on the table.
“Um, would you be able to—“ Momo couldn’t help but feel the blush start to rise in her cheeks as she lifted her head looking at her friends.
“What is it, Yaoyorozu?” Midoriya gently asked.
“I need you to help the twins take a bath,” Momo quickly said closing her eyes briefly. There was a moment, a pause. She cracked open her eyes seeing the blank expressions of the boys, frozen in their seats as they registered her favor.
