Shouto sighed finally seeing the campus come into view as their family car pulled in front of the main gates. He quickly said his goodbyes to his sister, Fuyumi promising her to see her next week again before exiting the car. Slipping through the sling of his bag he stuffed his hands into his pockets passed through the U.A. gates. In about a few minutes the sight of the Heights Alliance dorms rose.
He yawned into his hand closing his eyes briefly as he tilted his head to the side slightly cracking his neck letting out a satisfied groan. He had spent most of his morning with his mother and sister mainly sitting on an uncomfortable stool listening to the two women talk about just about anything. He enjoyed spending the day with his family, it gave him a smile seeing how his mother’s mood greatly improved.
The thought of his soft futon weaved its way into his head the closer he got to the porch of the dorms. He couldn’t wait to get to his room and fall face-first into his soft bed. He didn’t realize how much energy was spent when it came to being social.
Shouto opened the door surprised to see everyone in the common room crowded around the television. For the most part, his friends would usually be in their rooms. Must be some kind of movie, Shouto thought to himself not paying attention to them hoping to slip to the elevators unnoticed.
“Guys, it’s Todoroki!” Hagakure said in a low voice making Shouto’s ears prick up in interest, but he didn’t stop to look at them as the sudden hush washed over his friends. He didn’t think much of it continuing to the elevator his mind wandering to a particular raven-haired girl. I wonder if Yaoyorozu is in her room. I should probably check on her to make sure she’s eaten… she’s been forgetting to lately…
“Erm— Todoroki?” Midoriya suddenly said in front of him stopping Shouto in his tracks.
“Oh, Midoriya,” Shouto greeted, “What is it?” He eyed his friend’s odd behavior. He was nervous, his bright green eyes ever so often darting from Shouto to the side, one of his fists clenched while the other tapping his cheek.
Impatient, Shouto quirked his eyebrow, “Is there something you want to tell me?”
“Well, there’s something you should now,” Midoriya finally revealed.
“… and that is?” Shouto drawled with his piercing, impatient glare.
“I think you’re going to have to sit down for—“
“Daddy!” A scream of delight sounded to his left. Why is there a kid— Shouto thought to himself swiveling his head to the direction of the noise. His heterochromia enlarged as not one, but two little boys ran up to him practically launching themselves into him wrapping their arms around him pulling him down into a tight hug.
Shouto grunted surprised by the strength the boys had having him bend on one knee hugging him tightly. Awkwardly, Shouto gently patted the boys’ back as they hugged him.
Their heads: red and white, so similar to his. Were they related to him? Oh god did his father have a secret love—?
“I knew it!” Ashido abruptly shouted shooting up from the couch.
“Ashido, contain yourself!” Iida chided.
“You lost the bet, Mineta,” She declared looking over at the boy who held onto his hair obvious with stress.
“That damn ikemen. First the class hierarchy now the class’ goddess?” Shouto could hear Mineta whining in the corner small blood tears of jealous streaming down his cheeks.
Everyone glared at them to which the pink-haired girl smiled apologetically sitting back down holding her hands up in defeat, “Sorry!”
“Um.. what?” Shouto managed to say looking up at Midoriya noticing the rest of his classmates all were watching the scene unfold.
