"Agh!!" I yelled as I body slammed this dude

Okay, recap. After meeting up with my wife's mother and telling her the news, I knew they were like best friends so I asked her did Ashley have any problems with anybody. Anything going on that she didn't tell me about and she told me about these guys that were constantly calling her with threatening messages, but that wasn't fresh news to me because I knew about that. But I tracked the number that the calls were coming from and this guy immediately tried to run from me, but I'm a detective. And I ran track in high school. Fastest on my team. So with that being said, you cannot run from me.

"I just wanna ask you a couple questions. How do you know my wife?" I asked

"She borrowed money from my brother saying it was for their kid. I swear I didn't know anything about her until he said something yesterday." The guy says

"What did he say?" I asked

"He just told me everything. He told me what he did and I didn't know what to do, I just- I don't know."

"Okay then, but where is my daughter?" I asked

"Daughter?" He said

I pulled out my phone and showed him a picture of her.

"No, that's my niece. That's my brother's daughter. They got a DNA test done and everything. That's my niece."

"Have you seen proof of these positive DNA results?" I asked

"Y-yeah, yeah. He actually left them over there on the table. If you get up off my neck I'll go get 'em for you. Take it easy." The guy says

I got up off him and cautiously let him up. He walked over to the table and grabbed some papers.

"You look stressed man. Anything I can help with, I'm willing to help. I don't condone any bad things my brother does."

"Thanks... Now have a seat." I said before pointing my gun at him

"Okay." He said while quickly sitting down

I read all the paperwork and it was official. My daughter isn't actually my daughter. It's so hurtful to have to find out this way. My wife's dead and the child I thought was my little girl isn't actually my little girl.

"You want something to drink? There's a bar right around the corner. They make a mean margarita."

"No. Shut up, let's go." I said as I wiped the few stray tears away

"Where are we going?"

"To meet some friends of mine. Let's go.... Do I have to cuff you?" I said

"Nope, I'm fine." He says as he walked in front of me

I put him in the passenger seat of my car and cuffed him to the steering wheel. Yes he was cuffed while I was driving. So what?

"Turn." I said

"Ahh." He complained

"What's your name anyway?" I asked

"Trevor."

"Okay Trevor, the people we're going to see are gonna give you a nickname. So if you wanna be alive to see nightfall, don't argue back with them." I said

"Okay." He said

"Turn." I said

"Aaahh!"

"I keep warning you dude. What's the problem?" I asked

"You're stretching me like play dough here." Trevor says

"Yeah you're right. But next time, try moving with the steering wheel. That's why I didn't strap you into your seat belt." I said

"Oh okay. I thought maybe it was because if we wrecked, you wanted me to die first." Trevor says

"That too, but let's deal with one thing at a time here buddy." I said

"You're actually a cool cop."

"Thanks man, that means a lot coming from the guy who's brother killed my wife and kidnapped my daughter. Don't you even say it." I said

"I wasn't gonna say anything." He said

We made it back to Top's house and I unhooked him from the steering wheel. I led him inside and called everybody downstairs.

"RJae!!" I called

"Nigga stop yelling, I'm right here. Who's the football jock?" RJae asked

"This is Trevor, Trevor these are the people I wanted you to meet." I said

"Um... Hi." Trevor waved as his voice became frightened

"What you scared fa'?" Top asks while clenching a gun in his hand

"I'm not scared." Trevor says while trying to toughen up

"Yes you is, sit yo bitch ass down?" Ten said as he pushed Trevor

"Okay."

"Trevor, meet the guys. Guys, meet Trevor. Trevor here has a devious brother who has uhhh, killed my wife, kidnapped my kid, and went ghost mode." I said

"Uhuh... Nice to meet you T-Body." Kd said

"My n--"

"Shut up." I said

"Alright." Trevor said

"Wea' yo brother?" Top asks

"I seriously don't know. I wish I did, but I don't. He called me yesterday and said he did something bad when I asked him what, he told me and I told him he needed to turn himself in and he said he would that he just wanted to spend time with his baby. That's it." Trevor says

"What?" Montana said

"His baby?" RJae said

"Yeah, I received this at T-Body's house." I said

They all looked at the papers and gave me this "damn brother" kinda look.

"Wow. Okay, so is there anywhere in particular that your brother may take the baby? Like a park, river spot, anything?" Montana asks

"Nooo- Yeahhh! Yes. Shit." Trevor said as Rojay hit him over the head

"What'd you do that for?" Trevor asks

"Is it a yes or no? Give me straight answers only. If not, I'll hit yo ass over the head everytime til' you dead." Rojay said

"Yes. He likes to go to the beach in Santa Monica when he goes on vacation."

"But that's in California." I said

"No shit Mickey Mouse. Did you have to use the mystery mouseketool for that one?" Trevor asks

"Don't try that sarcasm shit again." Rojay said after hitting Trevor again

"Jesus." Trevor says

"Okay, well how about this. Until we find yo hoe ass li' brother, you staying in our company. So get comfortable li' bitch." 3three says

"Yayyy." Trevor sarcastically says

"Do you got a death wish foe'?" Rojay asks

"Who's foe'?"

"Just be quiet Trevor." I said

Well, it looks like we finna go on another trip. How fun for us right? Wrong!! I hate traveling. This is some bullshit.
