After I calmed down, I got in the shower and threw on a jogging suit. I walked out into the living room area and hopped that nobody was in there, but my hopes were shattered when I seen Herb, Polo G, and Man Man sitting on the sofa.

"Good mornin'."

"Good morning." I softly spoke

I knew that at least Von saw what happened this morning and I was hella embarrassed.

"You feelin' alright." Herb asks

"Yeah." I said

"You sure?" Polo G asks

"Yes." I said

"If you hungry, they got food inna kitchen." Man Man says

"Where is--"

"They downstairs in the pool." Herb spoke

Well that explains why I'm here by myself. I just sat down on the sofa in between them and started watching TV.

My phone started ringing and I pulled it out my pocket seeing Von calling me. I got up and walked off to answer the phone.

"Hello?" I spoke

"Wassup. You good?"

"Yeah I'm ight." I said

"Well, yo cop friend told me to tell you to call him when you wake up, or calm down. So call yo people gang." Von says

"Which one?" I asked

"Brian." Von says

"Okay." I said

"Ight. If you hungry I l--"

"The food in the kitchen, yeah I know. Man Man told me." I said

"Ight then." He spoke before we got off the phone

I took and called Brian and he answered on the 2nd ring.

"Hello little detective. How are you feeling today?" Brian spoke

"I'm feeling okay. Von told me to call you. Is everything okay?"

"Well uh, yes and not. First off, Von contacted me about you waking up screaming or something. Are you alright?" Brian spoke

"I had this weird dream that I was in a shootout." I said

"And what happened after that?" Brian asks as he looked really concerned

We were on FaceTime by the way.

"I died." I said

"Well, that's pretty.... Upsetting." He said

"So what ya' gotta tell me?" I asked

"You alone?" Brian asks

"Not really. I'm in the hallway of my suite." I said

"Okay so, I found some more stuff out about your dad's case and I really need you to see this. Maybe it'll jog some of your memory about some things from your past." Brian says

"Okay." I said

"So, I'm on my way to New York with Frank and we're bringing a rookie with us. Mariah, he's a bit weird. But it might just be his nerves. So take it easy on him, will ya'?"

"Okay. Just as long as he stay cool, I'm fine." I said

"Thank you. And before the plane here takes off. I'm gonna send you some evidence inventory dealing with your dad's case. So while we're on the flight, you can take a look at that and when I get there, let me know if there's anything suspicious you see. But we're bringing all the evidence anyway. So you'll be able to take a better look at it when we get there." Brian explained
