"SO, YOU WANT ME TO TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT MYSELF." The voice of Nathan Scott caught the attention of everyone, their eyes flying towards the box television on the wall. "I don't have anything to say. Even if I did, you'd be wrong to believe me. Trust is a lie, nobody even knows anyone. People think if you love someone hard enough, that everything is just going to work out. They're wrong. Fifty years from now, I hope you got what you wanted, Haley. Because getting married to you was the worst mistake of my life."

It didn't take long for the students to realize the time capsule had been released. The different videos everyone said had been show cased throughout the whole school. Lola felt embarrassed at her's since she admitted how grateful she'd been for Lucas' friendship. They'd only known each other for a little bit when she'd said those things. It made her wanna know who in their right mind would want to do something like this?

Before she could walk away towards her next class, she's stopped by someone's hands grabbing her arm. Turning around, Lola comes face-to-face with Lucas, the boy giving her a soft look. "Hey. What you said in the video, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. And you don't have to worry about me leaving, I'm always going to be here."

Lola's felt the tears gather in her eyes and she pulls his body against her's, head laying on his chest where she could hear his heartbeat. "Thank you, Luke."

"Anything for you, Loo." Lucas pulled away, a large smile plastered on his beautiful face. "Let's head to class before mine leaks."

She nods, letting him clutch her hand and led her to their shared class, Mathematics. They passed a bunch of others who looked like they were staying there and one person in particular caught her eye. Nathan. He looked to be in pain as his eyes stared into her soul. She quickly moved her head from his direction and towards the door of Mrs. Matthew's classroom, going straight to her seat beside Lucas.

"Are you going to Tric tonight? Fall Out Boy is playing, I'm sure it'll be fun." Lucas brought her out of the thoughts of the brunette Scott and he noticed the dazed expression she held.

Lola nodded, "Yeah, I'll be there. It'll definitely be good for everyone after the day we're about to have."

"True. Especially after witnessing Tim's video." He visibly cringed, causing the girl beside him to crack up.

And just like that, her mind completely erased Nathan Scott from it. For once, she could enjoy a conversation without him swimming around up there.

Tonight is a Tric night with different bands performing and Lola's ready to dance. But, the song that currently played wasn't something to move to, so she just sat near the bar, watching the man in front of the microphone perform. Glancing around, she saw different people swaying by themselves and some with their significant others. Lola sometimes wishes she wasn't single and could get to finally experience being in a relationship. What were they like? How did it feel to be loved unconditionally?

With a sigh, Lola chugs her water bottle before throwing it in the trash can. She turns her body around to face the stage again when someone bumps into her, causing her smaller self to fall over. Her eyes close in anticipation of the hard ground hitting her, when it doesn't come, instead she feels large hands around her waist. Opening her eyes slowly she sees the one and only Nathan Scott staring at her with soft eyes.

"Hi." His voice is warm and inviting, causing butterflies to fill through her stomach. "I've been looking for you all day long."

Lola let's him steady her on the ground, hands still clutching her waist, but she was too wrapped up in his beautiful eyes to even notice or care. "Why?"

"I wanted to tell you what I did the other day at the cheer tournament. You said you don't remember, so I'm going to repeat what I said." Nathan watched as she opened her mouth to say something, but he stops the girl with his finger that gently touched her plump lips. "Me and Haley aren't getting back together. We've been broken up since signing the divorce papers and the Fantasy Boy Draft date doesn't change that."

"But Haley made it seem like you were." She quickly looked away from him, scared he'd see the emotions she hasn't expressed yet.

He grabbed her chin, making the girl look at him again. "Well, she lied. And I have another thing to say. I like you, Lola."

Lola's eyes widen in complete shock, heart starting to race, hoping this wasn't her imagination fucking with her. "Really?"

Nathan laughed at her expression, hands going up to cup her red cheeks. "Yes. I really, really like you. I have for a while now, I just didn't know how to say it out loud."

"I really like you too, Nate. So much." Lola finally admitted, arms going around the back of his neck, feet almost all the way off the ground. "I can't believe this, can we finally be happy together?"

He almost didn't catch the last words that fell from her lips due to them being whispered, but his face was so close to her's, it came out as clear as day. "Yes." Staring into her eyes, heart racing a million miles per second, he asks the question he's been wanting to ask forever now. "Can I kiss you?"

Lola bit her lip before nodding, his head reaching down to catch her in a kiss. Their lips clashed, puzzle pieces finally fitting perfectly together. It lasted a short second, a sweet and short one. "Oh, wow. That was perfect, Nate."

"Yeah? I'm glad." Nathan's fingers brushed a piece of black hair behind her ear. "That was definitely long over due."

"Definitely." She laughed, glancing around the place as a different band comes up. Her eyes meet his, "So, what now?"

A large smile is plastered on his face, "Now, we take the next step. Would you let me be your first boyfriend?"

       "Of course."
