Edd and Matt had been together for about a year now. The two would have sex every so often, usually they would wear protection but sometimes they'd forget usually Matt would pull out in time but sometimes they made mistakes. Edd didn't think much of it though, they would cuddle a lot together.
Than one day edd was cooking breakfast. He put bacon in the oven and checked his calendar looking through the past months. Usually edd would mark down when he had a period each month but edd noticed that last month he didn't marked it down and the month before that he did, he thought for a moment realizing he hadn't gotten his period this month either.
His eyes widened in shock.
" Oh shit..."
Edd finished cooking breakfast before going to a store to buy pregnancy tests and some water bottles, getting weird looks from shoppers. He looked away his face red, they scanned the pregnancy tests and edd bought them, than went home to use them.
He had taken a few tests throughout that day, wondering what Matt would think about this
It just feels so soon.. I feel like Matt just had taria, I can't be pregnant so soon.
Edd was afraid to look at the tests, he felt like if he was pregnant he wouldn't be a good mother to matt's children.
Despite what Tom said about him being a mom
"You would be a great mom and raise a good kid, no matter who the father was"
He just felt like he would make too many mistakes, but if he was he would still keep it despite his fears.
Edd took a deep breath and looked at the pregnancy tests. They were all positive, edd shivered a bit from the sight and sighed. He grabbed them all and went to his and matt's bedroom. Matt was laying on the bed, half asleep when edd shook him
" Wh- who? Oh it's just you edd! I was about to go to sleep. What's wrong?" Matt asked smiling at edd
Edd looked away then put the pregnancy tests in matts hand.
Matt rubbed his eyes and placed them on the bed before giving them a close look. His eyes widened and he gave edd a look of loving surprise
" Matt- I don't know if I'm ready. I'm keeping it of course but I feel scared.. it feels so sudden-"
" It's okay edd! I felt the same way when I found out about taria. After a while you get used to it and kinda enjoy it."
Edd nodded than gave Matt a kiss on the lips and they cuddled.
" Are we going to tell Tom?" Matt asked
" Soon, let's cuddle now." Edd smiled cuddling his boyfriend.

Edd and tom had been chatting for a bit talking about random subjects
" So how's life being with Matt?" Tom asked, cocking his head
" It's fine! We are expecting now!" Edd smiled at his freind, placing a hand on his belly. There was no baby bump yet but edd knew there would be one later.
Tom stared in shock for a moment "WHAT?! You just started dating him! This seems so sudden!"
" We didn't plan to have a kid to be honest, it surprised me too but we're having a baby and I can't wait to meet them!"
" I- congrats." Tom said not knowing what to say.
Edd smiled, Matt walked into the room and gave edd hugs and kisses. Edd blushed and smiled at Matt.
Edd noticed Tom staring at them with unfomfort
" Are you okay Tom?"
"Yes, I'm just shocked is all"
" Ok, that's fine." Edd smiled at his freind than cuddled with his boyfriend.

Edd had been pregnant for 14 weeks and they were going to find out their babies gender, they were cuddling in the car.
" We're going to have a beautiful baby together. What do you think it's going to be?"
" I think it's going to be a girl. Since I had a girl I think you might too. I don't have a preference on gender though"
" I think it's going to be a boy. It's just giving me that feeling" Edd looked at the time " we should go in now." He said getting up and going into the hospital with Matt.
They sat for a while, snuggling on a couch.
" I love you my sweet potato"
" Love you too pumpkin."
Edd kissed Matt on the cheek
" Edd, we have the room ready." A nurse said.
The couple went to the room and the nurse got edd ready for the ultrasound and began looking for the baby
"I can't wait to see them again." Edd smiled, Matt gave him a kiss
" Let's hope they're ok, you were a bit sick last week, but it's good you're okay now"
" Yeah"
" There they are!" The nurse said
The two looked at the screen, there the baby was curled up and moving a bit. Edd smiled brightly at them, tears of joy filling his eyes
" they're beautiful!" Edd smiled feeling his tears slip from his eyes
The nurse moved looking for the gender edd and Matt cuddled lightly talking lovingly when the nurse said
" Congrats, you're having a boy!"
Edd smiled at Matt than the baby
" We're having a little boy! Let's call him Derek!" Matt cooed.
" I love it!"
Edd and matt kissed before the nurse cleaned edd up and let him go home.
" Come back next month for an appointment!"
Edd nodded and waved goodbye.

That night edd and Matt were cuddling
" Derek is going to love you pumpkin." Edd smiled, cuddling And hugging Matt
" He will love you too my sweet potato."
The two cuddled until they fell asleep.
That morning edd felt pain in his lower body, his legs felt sticky.
" It's far too early to give birth" edd said, perhaps Derek was kicking a bit roughly. Edd moved the blankets to shower when he saw his shorts and the bed was soaked with blood.
Edd looked at the bed in shock
" NO! NO! NO! MATT WAKE UP!!" Edd screamed shaking matt
Matt groaned, pulling the sheets over him.
" MATT PLEASE WAKE UP!" edd cried
" Why sweet potato?"
" IM HAVING A MISCARRIAGE!"
