Chapter 13 Singing That Old Song

The next day in the morning everyone had gotten up and left the cabin and as they were walking through the forest through a open field Mammon and Lucifer looked at each other and nodded before looking at everyone else.

Then suddenly everyone saw Barbatos and Diavolo and before they could react Mammon and Lucifer stood between them and Mammon said.

Mammon : it's okay guys....we called them...."

Satan : why!?"

Lucifer : we were able to come up with a solution that works for everyone"

Barbatos : Mammon has agreed to take the fall for everything. I can alter everyone's minds of the events to think it was him"

Beel : what?"

Belphie : Mammon you can't do that!?"

Mammon : it's ok....I won't be around to get punish for it anyways...."

MC : what do you mean?"

Mammon was hesitant to tell them but then Lucifer put his hand on his shoulder and said looking like he was holding back tears.

Lucifer : it's Time now..."

Satan : what's happening?"

Mammon then started explaining to them what was happening to him and as he was talking each one of the brothers faces drop and looked horrified and sad some even starting to tearing up.

Mammon : .....but you guy's will be okay without me....y-

Satan : no we won't!....this can't be true!"

Mammon : I'm sorry Satan.....but it's ok this isn't the end.... we'll meet again one day I'm sure."

Levi : y-you can't leave us...."

Mammon : you guys have each other you'll be alright I know you will....I made sure you would. And with that I can go happy. I did what I needed to do. My job is done......but first"

Mammon then walked over to Satan and said taking out Goldie and giving it to him smiling trying to joke around....

Mammon : I want to give this to you. I know you'll take good care of her"

Satan : ......your.....your being stupid...."

Mammon : yeah....yeah I am"

Satan had his head down and was clearly upset was was angry at the same time. He then took Goldie and suddenly everyone immediately group hugged Mammon.

All the brothers eventually crying not wanting to lose Mammon.

Meanwhile Lucifer was off to the side just watching his brothers and MC hug one last. It hurt to see this but at least everyone was getting to say goodbye to him.

Diavolo :.... I'm deeply sorry Lucifer......"

Lucifer : You'll do what I ask?"

Diavolo : of course....but it's the same rules as last time"

Lucifer : I understand that....thank you for this"

Diavolo : it's not a problem"

After everyone was done hugging they overheard them talking and MC asked.

MC : what are you guys talking about?"

Lucifer : what happened to Lillth will be done to Mammon....he'll be reborn as a human but won't remember us and will have a new life...... and means we won't be allowed to ever come in contact with him...."
