Like she was one of the characters that weren't supposed to be alive at this moment. He wanted to say something, anything about modern time to see if she would react but before he could, they reached the temple. Minerva smiles as she pushes the door open and there in the main hall stands Eraqus, Kaeya, and another.
"Oh! Honey when did you return to Khaenri'ah?"

"Daddy!"Paimon happily cry's out as she runs to the unknown man. The unknown man was by far the tallest in the building, easily making M/n a bit uncomfortable for a moment.

The man cuts his eyes over to M/n and Verose after picking his daughter up.
"Minerva, who did you-"

"No need to worry, Sir Harris. Prince M/n is the one I've been waiting for... Kaeya, take the others to the sitting room while I speak with His majesty, the butler, and Sir Harris."Eraqus politely asks his secret lover. Kaeya was worried at first but reluctantly leads the other reluctant men away along with Minerva and Paimon.

Once they were out of earshot, Eraqus lets out a loud and long sigh.
"M/n, Verose this is Harris, he is also an outsider that changed the flow of the story."

"How?"Eraqus nods his head to signal Harris to speak.
"Minerva was killed by Lumine in the original story and so was Harris. Leaving Paimon alive to lead a revolution against Lumine in the last book."

"Do they win?!"

"...No..No they don't but it wasn't in vain, your wolf learns the truth about what happened for you to not remember him and he takes Lumine's life in the end but I would rather take her out now than allow the original story to take place. I'm pretty happy here, I have a wife and a child. "Harris, you're to stay out of the crossfire, I can tell how happy you are, and being involved could put you in danger. I also advise that you and Minerva take the throne before Lumine could act on anything she has planned for Khaenri'ah."
