As Capitano promised, He brought his sister and her family to the prince the next day. However... "Miss Heidi, where is His Majesty?"
"Let's say, he ran into a few issues this morning and hasn't been back since. Worry not, I'm sure he'll return soon but in the meantime follow me to His Majesty's sitting room."Heidi swiftly turns around and leads the lot to the room, on the way it was nearly a sightseeing tour for the family, never had any of them been within the palace walls. "Who is that man next to the prince?"One of the two children asked while looking up a beautiful painting. "His Majesty's father, the previous king of Snezhnaya."
"He looks so nice! I bet the prince was happy with his dad like I am with mine!"Heidi smiled softly, it was a first for Capitano. He had only seen the woman frown or stare blankly but it was a nice change. Heidi began to explain many beautiful pieces that decorated the princes' side of the palace. "Here we are–Oh my!"Just as Heidi opens the door Lilia scampers out of the room and out of the open window. "That explains why I haven't seen her in the past hour, ah take a seat and I'll be back with tea and snacks."
"Thank you miss."Heidi lightly bows before walking out and closing the door behind her. Capitano sighs heavily while sitting down on the other couch adjacent to his sister and her family. "Zina, you didn't have to agree to this so quickly, you could have waited just a bit longer."
"As if I would make the great prince wait! I was there that day he came back with all the things from Inazuma. The silk he brought back was beautiful! I wish to talk with him because I was one of the few people who were able to work with the silk."
"Ah, I didn't know that."While the two engaged in light conversion the doors were suddenly thrown open! Startled everyone turns to the doors to see none other than Aether, he looked a bit confused and panicked. "Ah! Sir Capitano, have you seen Lilia? I was in the room about an hour ago and accidentally locked her inside after assuming she ran out before me!"
"Lilia? Oh, that little fox that ran out of this room when Miss Heidi opened the door. She's probably out in the snow, have you seen His Majesty by any chance?"Aether tilts his head in a thinking motion before shaking his head. "I haven't seen him since breakfast. If I remember correctly, he took Diluc and Childe with him. He said something about checking the Lay line in Shivada Jade mine–"
"What!?"Both Zina and Capitano scream out in terror. They didn't spare a second and quickly rush of the room, and right out of the Palace.

M/n sighs heavily, there was no way he could have foreseen this...M/n was stuck and completely isolated from Diluc and Childe plus the mine workers. During the inspection, a large section of the mine began to collapse, and with quick thinking, he was able to use Cryo to force everyone out before the rocks closed in front of him.
"Fuck...How do I always end up in a dangerous situation!? I can't have Diluc or Tartaglia break the entrance open due to the risk of causing more rocks to collapse around me. UGH!"M/n turns around and walks further into the mine but stops himself for a moment. "
I'm sure there's another way out, if not then I'm fucked! I didn't get this far just to die all over again. I'll be damned if that happens..."M/n was highly annoyed with this but happy that the people made it out.
As M/n attempts to find another way out, Capitano and his sister reach the scene to find that the entrance was gone and a panic struck Tartaglia; who looked to be having a crisis. "How did this happen!?"
"While the prince was checking in on us, one of the miners struck a lay line reserve. It shock the entire foundation this time and the prince managed to force us all out. His Majesty, however, got stuck inside! We tried to clear the rubble but..."Diluc sighs heavily as he placed a hand on the miner's shoulder. "We attempted to clear the rubble but the prince quickly ordered us not to. He said soon as we tried to remove larger rocks more began to fall on the inside around him. He said he would try to find another way out."Diluc ended the explanation and then looks over at the still-stunned Tartaglia. "Tartaglia is out of commission, I'll take to calling the shoots. Quickly mobilize the troops, we're now in a state of emergency and we must do anything and everything to save His Majesty!"
