Hi for anyone who reads this little book of my thoughts, I recently lost my paternal step-grandfather who was like my only father figure in my life. I was and still am extremely close to him, he practically was my foundation and helped raised me. He was the closest grandpa to me and this loss was devastating. He passed away on October 4, which is coincidentally my two sister's birthday (they aren't twins and my mom had them after she left my dad). He passed away from complications from lung cancer, it was one of those things where the treatment was worse than the disease. He had a hard time breathing and it turned out to be pneumonia which his body couldn't fight with any antibiotics. He had just made 73 the month before, and had just retired 2 years prior. I had really tried everything to cope with the loss and I found this to be very beneficial for me. Thank you for reading any of these, I really appreciate being able to share with other people :)!
