The Verity was in orbit while 4 shuttles towed the 4 damaged ships to the hangar with their tractor beam.

Alister and Ratchet could see the deplorable state of the 4 ships. Scorch marks and dents. Some parts had come loose as Elysion spoke in annoyance "Filthy, cheating Cragmite!"

The shuttles carefully dropped the ships to the ground while in one of them Zephyr and Cronk exited.

Cronk lowered his head annoyed "We were at the other end of the area where the Dimensionator was, holding off the remaining Kerchu forces but don't expect a Tachyon attack."

Zephyr kicked in annoyance "We were a meter away where they are from the platform only to see Talwyn and Rivet captured! We're idiots!" The robot slapped himself with all his might. "Max Apogee will surely be watching us and screaming in his grave over this!"

Ratchet looked serious "Calm down! He hasn't won yet, you said the Dimensionator is missing a piece. And that piece is with us. Simply put, it can't touch the Verity at its current strength. Right now Starfleet is pulling back its invading forces."

Ratchet looked determined "We can't start blaming ourselves now. Do you know any clues as to where it might have headed?"

At that moment Zephyr remembered something "Clank, he was on Rivet's back. Maybe we can track him down."

Ratchet looked worried "It's not simple, remember it's Tachyon we were on. You saw what the Verity is capable of in the battle of Kortog. The best thing to do is to set course for Metropolis on the planet Kerwan which is well defended. Alister, Ratchet, Rhys, Cronk and Zephyr were sitting in chairs. On a screen was Jean Luc Picard.

"It's a pleasure to meet you General." The former Enterprise captain greeted as the adult Lombax nodded "The pleasure is mine Admiral Picard."

"Ratchet told me what happened with Tachyon. Someone like you we could use his help." Picard replied seriously "We may be getting the upper hand on Tachyon and his Empire but I fear he could attack any outpost on the edge of the border near the omega quadrant."

Alister nodded understanding "I am aware Admiral." Jean Luc sighed thoughtfully "I look forward to meeting with you."

The USS Verity warped out as in the distance a large fleet composed of Federation and Klingon Empire starships could be seen in formation.

The Verity entered the fleet in formation.
