I woke up to Trent stroking my head and i opened my eyes and turned to see Trent just laying on his side looking at me and i smiled "Morning wife" He said as I continued to smile "Morning husband" I said as I leaned over and kissed him "how'd you sleep?" Trent asked as I smiled "better that we're ok" I said as he smiled "my mum messaged to say she's so happy we've managed to sort things out" He said as I smiled "I love your mum so much" I said as he smiled "and she loves you so much more" He said as I kissed him again. "What time have you got training?" I asked as he sighed and rolled over grabbing his phone off the side and rolled back over and looked at his phone "10" He said as I nodded and then Trent went on his camera and took a photo of us and I smiled. After Trent had took the photo he pulled me into him and we kissed.

After laying there for a few minutes, me and Trent both got out of bed, with Trent staying upstairs and I headed downstairs to make some breakfast before we both go to work. I walked into the kitchen and walked over to the fridge and opened it, and there weren't alot in there and so I walked over to the counter and grabbed my phone off charge and turned it on. I went onto the McDonald's app and ordered me and Trent some breakfast which consisted of a few hash browns, a hot chocolate and a Flat white for me and trent and then a cheese and bacon flatbread and an egg and sausage mcmuffin. I had ordered it and it would be about half an hour and so I took the opportunity to start ordering some well needed shopping. As I was booking shopping on the tesco app, I reached over and grabbed the stack of mail on the counter and started going through them, most of them for Trent but a few for me. One piece of mail stood out to me then the other two. I put them to the side and started opening the letter that I had in my hands and that's when there was an handwritten letter inside. I pulled it out and started reading it

Maia,

It's your mum. I wanted to write this to say that I'm no longer living abroad and that I've moved over to the UK in Manchester in a flat. I want to see you and talk, I would like to see my grandchildren. I hope to hear back from you soon.

As I stood there reading the letter, Trent came walking in "babe, you alright?" He asked as I put down the letter and looked at Trent as I nodded "urm yeah, my mums wrote to me. She's living in Manchester" I said as Trent's eyes went wide, "oh so what does she want?" He asked as I shrugged "she wants to talk and see the kids, but what's questioning me as that I've heard absolutely nothing from her for months and months but now she gets in touch" I said as he nodded "Are you going to meet up with her?" Trent asked as I nodded "I am yes, I'm not taking the kids" I said as he nodded "ill come with you, for support" He said as I smiled. That's when there was a knock at the door and Trent looked at me and frowned "oh breakfast" I said as he laughed and walked off. Trent went to the front door leaving me in the kitchen staring at the letter. I really didn't expect to hear from my mum after she refused to be part of my life because I was in contact with my dad.

As I stood there, Trent came walking in with two McDonald's bags "I have the goods, I didn't even know you had ordered" He said as i looked at him and smiled "there wasn't anything for us to have, so I decided to order" I said as Trent put down the bags on the counter and walked upto me and wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head as I rested my head on his chest "i love you" He said as I smiled and lifted my head up and looked at him "I love you too" I said as he smiled and he leaned down and gave me a kiss.
Me and Trent pulled away from eachother and we started opening the McDonald's bag and that's when Trent lifted the cheese and bacon flatbread and he held it up in the air "OH SHE'S BACK, ONE OF MY FIRST LOVES" Trent said as I laughed "I didn't know you loved cheese and bacon flatbreads" I said as he pulled down his hand and opened the wrapper and started eating the flatbread. "THIS WAS THE FIRST THING I TRIED AND I HAVEN'T HAD ONE OF THESE IN YEARS" He said in-between eating and I laughed "I've never ever seen you look so excited over food" I said as he walked over to me "open your mouth" He said as I laughed and he also laughed and so I opened my mouth and he fed me some of his flatbread "just try this masterpiece" He said as I started eating it and I smiled "what'd ya think?" He asked as he stood there looking at me waiting for me to answer and I smiled "yeah it's good" I said as he nodded "I knew you would like it" He said as I smiled and got out the bag of hashbrowns and took one out and started eating that.
