A month or so had passed since the final of the Carabao Cup. Liverpool had played quite a few games since the final, with them playing in the Champions League which sadly they lost against Intet Milan and then played in the Premier League and won them all. Liverpool were now top of the league.
Liverpool didn't have a game for the next week and so the kids were away with my sad and Juliet at the coast for a few days. They went yesterday and they were both enjoying themselves bless them. Tonight both me and Trent were busy, with Trent and the boys having a games night playing fifa. I was going out tonight with Marie, Saffie, Julia, Elise and Corinne for a little night out. Jordyn wasn't going because she was pregnant. It had been a long time since I last went out for a night out that involved drinking, but I was slightly a little worried of how it was going to go. The last time i properly went out drinking, it was before I had kids.Last night me and Trent had a little date night which consisted of us watching romcoms and eating our bodyweight in takeaway and chocolate. When I first met Trent and we were getting to know one another I knew he loved batman and thrillers. Whereas me I loved the batman films but my go two films were always Romcoms and for a long I wouldn't be able to get him to watch a rom com with me, until last night. I hadn't seen Pretty Woman in for so long and it was on the film selection and so after a tiny little bit of persuasion, we both sat there on the sofa and watched the whole film. By the end I was a sobbing mess because Vivian met her dream man. I looked at Trent a few times to see him wiping at his face and I was so so convinced he had cried too but I didn't say anything, I just pretended I didn't see him crying. If I was being completely honest, I was prouf of myself. It had took me the whole two years to get him to watch a rom com but I did it.
The both of us surprisingly went to sleep at a decent time and Trent being Trent woke up at 6am to go for his run and to the gym which was at the training centre. We've got a gym here but going to the gym at the training centre had become part of his routine. I took the opportunity to clean the whole house while he was out, with Mimi following my every move. I startrd for the top of the house and worked my way down. With Trent having the boys over later, I knew for a fact that he would make a mess, don't get me wrong he does clear up after himself but most of the time creates the mess and gets busy doing something else.
I had made my into Sophia's bedroom when I heard the door bell and so I stood up and walked across the landing and down the stairs to the front door. I opened it to see my mum. I just stared at her for a moment."Mum" i said as my mum stood in front of you smiling "darling, can I come in? Are my grandchildren here?" She asked as I shook my head "no, they're away. Mum what are you doing here?" I asked as she smiled "oh ok, I'm here to see you, my beautiful daughter" she said as I shook my head "mum, what are you actually doing here" I asked as my mum shrugged "like I said to see you. I've missed you. I'm sorry ok, I just. Sometimes I don't do the right thing" she said as I laughed "you've never made the right choice, ever since I was a little girl. You made it clear that you couldn't be part of my life with me being in touch with dad" I asked as she laughed "I did what was best for you Maia, your dad was a waste of space" she said as I shook my head "mum, I don't want your sob story. I want you to tell me why your here. What do you want?" I said as my mum sighed "I don't want to do this over the door step, can I come in?" She asked as I shook my head "no mum, now what do you want. The last time i seen you, you were wanting money. So what is it now." I said as I stood there staring at her and she sighed "ok ill tell you the reason. I need a little bit of money" she said as I laughed "what a surprise" I said as my mum just looked at me "I know, sweetheart I'm sorry. I just need to borrow a little bit, I will give it back along with the other" she said as I sighed and leaned against the door. "Mum not again" I said as my mum dropped her head "I know, I know. I'm so sorry, I just need to borrow a little and then I can pay the landlord. I'm sorry" she said as she looked at me and nodded "ok, how much?" I asked as my mum smiled a little "£350, it's just for rent. I'll give it you back I promise" she said as you nodded "come in, so I can transfer it into your bank" I said as I moved to the side and let my mum in.
