It was a few weeks later since mine and Trent's first wedding Anniversary and Liverpool had played a few games including the fa cup and the Carabao Cup and so far so good. Marie and Jordan had also welcomed a baby and they called him Myles. Liverpool had signed Luis Diaz from Porto. Sophia, Mimi and Theodore were currently staying with Dianne and Michael as me and Trent were currently away in the Maldives for our long awaited honeymoon. It's crazy to think how much has happened since we first met at the training ground all that time ago.
When you think about it, we had obviously got engaged, I had moved in with him and his family, we had had a pandemic, we had moved houses twice and I've had two babies during all that time. It was nice to just sit thinking about it all.

We had been here for a day now, and Trent had booked the holiday for a week. We didn't really get to explore or do anything yesterday when we arrived, as our flight's got delayed by hours, so we arrived here really late and then the taxi driver got lost searching for our hotel. Our hotel was a cabin on the edge of the island and overlooked the sea. It was amazing.
I had been up for the last ten minutes watching the wind blow the clear sheers. Trent was asleep beside me, and laying there I had time to think about the last month or so, it had been hard so hard and I honestly didn't think I would be here laying next to Trent on our long awaited honeymoon, but here I am.
I pulled back the covers and got out of the bed and walked over to my suitcase that laying on the floor and picked up one of my bikinis and grabbed one of the many towels from off the corner chair and walked outside onto the balcony where there was a swimming pool built onto where we were staying, overlooking the sea. I walked to a shaded area and got changed into my bikini and walked over and got into the swimming pool and started to swim back and forth of the pool.

I was resting my arms on the front of the pool looking out at the sea when I heard the patio doors open and I turned around a little and saw Trent stood on the patio wearing nothing but shorts and his long overgrown hair messy. "Morning gorgeous" He said as he walked over to two chairs that were at the side of the pool and he sat down "Morning babe, how'd you sleep?" He asked as I swam a little and rested my arms on the ledge where his feet were and I looked at him and smiled "yeah it was good. What you doing?!" I asked as Trent stood up and sat back down on the edge of the pool so his legs were in the pool "the water kinda nice" He said as I nodded and let go of the side and leaned back and looked at Trent "yeah it is" I said as I winked at him and he smirked "Are you flirting with me Mrs Alexander Arnold?!" He said as I laughed "is that a rhetorical question!" I said as he laughed and got into the pool and swam over to me and wrapped his arms around me and lifted me up a little "maybe" He said as I smirked and he kissed me.

After being in the pool for about five minutes, we both got out the pool and decided to head to the cafe for some breakfast. We were very unsure of what we wanted to do for the day, we were here for a week and so really we could just chill but if I'm being completely honest, I didn't want to chill I wanted to have fun. I dried my body and put my hair up in a big clip and got dressed in an floral summer skirt and matching bikini. I was ready and Trent was too, wearing a new pair of shorts and a tshirt. We left our cabin and started walking to the cafe which was less than five minutes away. We held eachothers hands and even though this was nice, I was missing the kids more than I should be.
We got to the cafe and a woman showed us to a table that again had an amazing view of the sea. She walked away and Trent pulled out the chair and I sat down and he pulled it in a little and then he walked around to the other side and sat down opposite me. The woman came back with two little menus "i'll back in a minute or two to take both of your orders" she said as she put them both down on the table and walked away.
