• The House of Markov is a empty long building with portraits of every CH currently alive. This building was made in Saint Petersburg in the early 1900s. The first CHs portrait made there was the Russian Empire. RE commissioned a man named Victor Markov, therefore the architectural building was named the House of Markov. As a way of gratitude and friendly ness, offered other CHs to also commission their artists to paint portraits of them in the House of Markov. Over the next century, the various portraits kept getting removed and new ones beginning to come. It was a tradition. Today, 193 CH portraits hang in that building. Only those recognized by the United Nations get a portrait in the House of Markov.
Everytime a new CH becomes sovereign, artists from that nation rush to be picked to paint their nations portrait. As a way of patriotism and exposure. The House of Markov is open to human visitors and each year, thousands from across the globe gather to see their nations portrait. When a CH dies, their portrait gets taken off and given to their successor CH so keeps it in their own home.
