Crash Part 2

--Lilly's POV--

I wake back up when the plane is being submerged by the sea, I look to the left of me and Y/N is still blacked out I try shaking her awake and she's not moving she's bleeding from a cut above her eyebrow, shit, I unbuckle myself and go and unbuckle her dragging her out of her seat and I start swimming as strong as I can to the surface as half the plane is missing so there's a huge opening, it's super tricky trying to swim with her but I needed to save her I couldn't just leave her.

I feel bad for everyone else because I can't help them too because by the time I get her out they'll be long gone, I see the emergency raft to the left of me so I quickly grab it keeping hold of Y/N and the rafting package I reach the opening of the plane and try to keep me and Y/N above the water as we're also being pulled down we start to submerge with the pressure of the plane dragging the water downwards quickly I let the raft inflate by pulling the inflate string which shoots us back above water and I put Y/N on the raft before climbing on to it and collapsing, tired from trying to keep me and Y/N alive.

after a while, I close my eyes letting us drift around after not seeing any more survivors and I feel myself drift off to sleep.

--Y/N's POV--

i wake up with a pounding headache and panic just seeing the sea around me and the yellow raft my eyes wonder to lilly and i crawl over to her shaking her, "Lilly...lilly wake up please?" she slowly opens her eyes as I let out a worried sigh as a tear falls from the corner of my eye, she looks at me and pulls me into a hug "Y/N your awake I cant believe this happened" I sob into her arms, "the one time I get the courage to fly and this happens, this is why I hate flying I knew this shit would happen" lilly holds me as she cries to "what are we going to do lilly?" she lets go of me and sighs, "the first bit of land we see we do our best to get the raft over there" I nod and smiles slightly "so a little like cast away the movie right?"she lets out a small giggle "yeah just like that movie, you just have to keep a positive head on no matter how hard it gets we will make this work okay?" i nod, i don't know what it is about this girl but i trust her with my life literally, i mean she saved me from a plane crash while I'm unconscious, so that says something right?

we've been floating in the ocean for hours now, its slowly becoming dark, which if you know me I'm terrified of so that's going to be fun, it also doesn't help I have thalassophobia which is a phobia of deep dark water because you don't know what lurks underneath there could be anything, did you know 95% of the ocean is undiscovered which is insane and yes I am a nerd I love the sea but I also hate it.

finally, I see land just as the sun is about to disappear "LILLY LAND!!!" She looks to where I'm pointing and grabs the ore that's attached to the raft that folds up and starts paddling, I look over the edge of the raft looking down into the dark water and shake my head "Y/N help me" I look at her afraid "i.. I can't" she looks at me confused "why we need all the power we can to get to the island" I start panicking "I have a huge phobia of dark water" she rolls her eyes "if I give you the ore can you?" I nod slightly and she hands it to me and uses her hand while I paddle without looking so that she doesn't get mad at me for not helping.

after what felt like 15 hours we arrive when in reality it was only an hour to get there, once we fully got to land we dragged the raft onto the sand away from the water and collapsed on the sand shivering because the temperature dropped and we were in summery clothes as we were flying to Florida. 

Lilly gets up after laying there for 5 minutes to get her breath, " we need to build a fire before we freeze since out here it seems like its likely to get severely cold" I nod getting up and helping her grab the wood and piled it up as she starts stripping some wood to start rubbing together to make a fire when I remember my phone case has an electric lighter and its also solar-powered charging case so unless it breaks we can continuously use it. I pull my phone out of the plastic bag I promised myself I put it in for this exact situation, they took my survival kit off me at TSA because it had stuff in there that could be used as weapons, which I understand I just wanted to be careful and safe.
