Jisung sat, attempting to process everything he'd experienced the day before. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't figure out how whatever had happened worked. He got goosebumps just thinking about the feeling he had when that guy's eyes became purple. It had felt like the guy was the most attractive person in the world and Jisung had had the urge to touch him, kiss him-
He shook his head, refraining from slamming it onto the table to avoid drawing any attention to him during the lecture.
Remembering those events made him want to suffer from amnesia. Jisung hadn't even thought about liking guys in the slightest. That was one of the reasons why he had signed up for that nonsense in the first place - he'd been so sure that whatever it was supposed to be, it wouldn't work. But it did, and it intimidated him.
How was something like that possible? Feelings were supposed to evolve when getting to know a person and falling in love with them. Not by having some stranger look at you. That shouldn't be possible; it was ridiculous and manipulative, and every second he spent thinking about it made Jisung want to punch the guy again.

"Dude, you good?"

Jisung snapped out of his thoughts and turned to face Changbin, who was sitting next to him and had happened to notice Jisung's mental absence.
The brunet peered around the room to make sure that no one else had paid attention to him, then offered a slight nod to his best friend before returning his attention to their lecturer, who seemed to be discussing criminal law.

Maybe Jisung should just meet up with that Chan guy and confront him with his knowledge of law that he had acquired so far throughout his legal studies, maybe that would scare the older boy into stopping whatever he was doing - because it wasn't right, ethically or morally.

But, on the other hand, there had to be more to it. So much Jisung probably wouldn't even be able to intimidate Chan with some legal jargon. How else could an ordinary biochemistry major do experiments just like that if not supported by the government, pharma industry, or some other big NGO? It deeply frustrated Jisung, but he still decided he had to meet up with Chan again. At the very least, some questions would be answered—and no one punched this time.
It wasn't that he had regrets about punching that stranger. He had asked for it by ridiculing Jisung with his weird, stupid ability to change eye colors. If Jisung were to ever see that boy on campus, he would definitely kick him in the balls.

Then it dawned on him. If he actually were to ever see the black-haired boy on campus, that boy would be able to just stop Jisung from hurting him by making him swoon over him. Even though Chan had supposedly warned him not to use it in public and only for experimental purposes, at least for the time being, that dude definitely didn't look like someone who cared the slightest about any rules.
In short, Jisung was screwed, and he had to make sure he never crossed paths with that guy, and if so, turn away as quickly as possible. He wasn't too keen on being manipulated yet again.

With his thoughts occupied by Chan, that other guy, and his stupid eyes, Jisung's lecture flew by quickly and as soon as their professor had dismissed them, the boy hurried out of the classroom, completely disregarding Changbin's callouts.
He aimed for the campus first, but when he stood there outside the law faculty building, he came to a halt, unsure of where to go. A sudden cold gust of wind made him furrow his eyebrows and take a look around him. He meant to find Chan, but he didn't know where to start looking. There were a bunch of students walking and running around campus, entering and exiting buildings. Jisung could hardly stand there all day and hope that out of some miracle, Chan would casually pass by.

He thought for a second before it occurred to him. He had to at least go and look around the faculty of science. Without spending another thought, Jisung hastily made his way across campus, his next destination said faculty. If he was lucky enough, Chan had classes around this time. He had to be there. Jisung needed him to be there.
He didn't even know why he was in such a rush to meet the older. It was almost like he was obsessed with finding out more about Chan's weird little project. Or maybe not so little after all.

The brunet came to a halt in front of the big grey, fairly old building that contained all the rooms for the different scientific and mathematical courses of study. Jisung had always hated being around there since he had never been a big fan of sciences and even less of the students there. He was well aware of what those students thought about people like him, law students, which was one of the reasons he disliked them. Now that he thought about it, it probably wasn't much of a coincidence that his first impression of Chan and his friend hadn't been too well. Even if his weird friend didn't even have a scientific major at all.

"Jisung?"

Jisung turned around upon hearing the somewhat familiar voice and was delighted to see Chan standing a few meters away from him. He looked different than when they had first met. His blonde hair was neatly straightened and there was a pair of round glasses sitting on his nose that he put down when Jisung lunged forward and harshly grabbed his arm.
Chan was about to say something, his expression slightly confused, but Jisung beat him to it.

"I need to know how it works," he said, giving Chan a stern look. The older seemed to be wondering about what he could have meant, but then he shook his head, folding his glasses and tucking them into his shoulder bag.
"I can't tell you that, it's-"
"I will tell all of my fucking classes if you don't tell me what's behind it." Jisung grew angrier with every second that Chan refused to comply.

"Jisung, you signed a contract to keep such confidential information," Chan stated, clearly unbothered by Jisung's sudden outburst. He remained calm, almost as if he was used to these kinds of situations, and it made Jisung even angrier.

"I don't care. What are you going to do about it, huh? Call the freaking cops on me?" Jisung forcibly yanked Chan's arm away and Chan instantly crossed his arms, his expression and decision not changing.

"So much for a law student." Another familiar voice appeared behind Jisung and he didn't even want to turn around as he easily recognized who that voice belonged to. Yet the comment that the boy had made, made Jisung whirl around and stomp toward the smirking student who seemed satisfied with the reaction he had gotten out of the younger. His smirk however faded when he was roughly pushed, making him stumble backward a little.
"Listen, you dipshit, I'm sick of your stupid little comments," Jisung said through gritted teeth, completely forgetting about Chan behind him.

With that push and that statement, Jisung had managed to make the boy just as angry as he took a few steps forward and stood square in front of Jisung, his hand harshly grabbing the brunet's chin as he forced him to look at him.
"There would be no need for them if it weren't for you sticking your nose into things that a none of your business." With that said, the boy aggressively yanked Jisung's head to the side.

The younger slowly turned his head back to face the taller, poking his cheek with his tongue, rage bubbling inside him. He was ready for another comeback or maybe even a punch, but Chan was quicker to stand between them, putting his hands on the other boy's shoulders.
"Leave it alone, Minho." He calmly warned the black-haired boy.
So his name was Minho. Jisung took a mental note of that before Chan turned to him and sighed.

"Let's go to the lab."
