It was supposed to be near the university's parking lot.
Jisung had tried to remember the way he had gone when Chan had shown him to his lab. It was close to their university, he was sure of that, but he couldn't quite remember where exactly. He needed to see Chan and reasoned that he'd have better chances of finding him when the older went to his lab instead of searching the entire campus for him.

The brunet ran a hand through his hair, starting to feel frustrated. He had to give up on searching for the lab and instead hoped that he would spot Chan somewhere along the way. Furthermore, he had to hope that Chan would show up on his own.

"Jisung?"

The addressed boy quickly approached Chan after exhaling a breath he was unaware he had been holding. He didn't even give him the chance to say anything else before he spoke up.
"I want it too."

Chan tilted his head in confusion, not catching on to what Jisung was saying.
"I want it too. The eye thing. Give that to me, please." He looked straight into Chan's eyes, who furrowed his eyebrows and opened his mouth to speak before shutting it again. He seemed to think for a few seconds.

Jisung had had three lectures today and not in one of them had he been able to focus a hundred percent. His thoughts were always on Minho, Chan, and that eye thing. He had given it a lot of thought, regarding Minho, the power itself, and particularly the possibility of him owning that power himself. He was sick of Minho's shit. Of how he kept messing around with Jisung, using his eyes. Of how he looked down on law students. And of how he made Jisung's heart race for no apparent reason. Jisung wanted payback.

"No, it's too risky. I'm still working on it. I have no idea what would happen if you and Minho used it on each other at the same time."

Jisung pondered on that for a moment. The power itself was harmless, yet it could be dangerous if Minho and him used it simultaneously. He didn't know what Chan meant by that, but it surely didn't include death, right?

"I don't care. It's an experiment, right?" Jisung urged Chan, "I'm your second guinea pig," Jisung tried to convince Chan. When the latter continued to remain silent, Jisung moved in closer and placed his hands on Chan's shoulders. "It's my own choice. I'll be responsible for whatever happens. Please."

The doubt was visible on Chan's face. His eyebrows were furrowed and his eyes that looked at Jisung's through the round glasses already indicated 'no'.

But then Chan's mouth said "Okay."

Jisung stepped back, surprised. "Okay", he repeated.

"Why do you want it?"

Chan applied some disinfectant to the small piece of cloth and then gently rubbed Jisung's elbow pit with it. It felt a little like he was about to get vaccinated at the doctor, yet he was more nervous than he would have been before a real vaccination.

"Just because." Jisung replied, deliberately focusing on his arm rather than Chan to hide the fact that he was lying. The blonde sighed and threw the piece of fabric into the trash before returning to the counter and grabbing a syringe.
"It's because of Minho, isn't it?"

Now Jisung lifted his eyes, looking at Chan's back as the latter handled the syringe and some liquids. He decided not to respond. Even if he did, even if he lied, Chan apparently had it figured out already, so there was no use.
"I figured that he pisses you off, you know", Chan turned around, syringe ready in his hand.

"But I'm gonna be honest", he approached Jisung, who was patiently sitting on the treatment table, "I don't think this will make things any better." He motioned for Jisung to extend his arm, which the latter did.
"I'm gonna count to three." Chan announced without waiting for Jisung to reply to his previous statement. The brunet nodded.

"One."

"Two."

Jisung was familiar with the pain of having his blood drawn or getting vaccinated at the doctor, but the pain that then radiated from his elbow pit into his arm, up his neck and head, was incomparable. It felt like Chan had just rammed an iron bar into his arm.

He wanted to say something, his gaze found Chan's eyes, but not a word left his mouth. His head hurt so much and his vision was becoming increasingly dim and blurry, so much until he couldn't see anymore. Everything went black.
